  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

Ohh they def know the narrative. They can def Group Speak very well.

How dare anyone actually think for themselves.

Actually falls in line that these people like more government control, so they can be told what to do, and they dont have to think for themselves, and or take any responsibility for themselves and or their actions. None of this is their fault.

Not a trump support, but I voted for him. The policies he ran on and implemented were good for all. I did not like the Dem Platform.  And we are seeing it play out NOW.

I realize nuance is not something everyone can recongnize. For some, if you are not a Biden Supporter you must be a Trump supporter. Yeah ok, what is this elementary school?

I'm not saying Biden's been great, but he's miles better than that last ass clown. If you can't admit that, then you've been asleep during the entire pandemic. Don't talk to me about the economy or inflation without the context of the worst pandemic in a century that's had massive global implications.

Keep telling yourself that.  He's just as bad.

Sad but accurate.

Holy sheet guys.  I think no matter where you fall on the political spectrum, we can all admit that Biden's doing an amazing job of getting America back to work.

Until you and or any of the other trumpbots give me specific examples of how he'd have steered us out of the pandemic faster, limited inflation, or somehow suddenly became sane after having demonstrated legit mentally ill behavior, then save it. Bring details or kindly stfu.

I think as leaders, they both suck.  I understand that line of thinking isn't the norm in here though, as mostly everyone is extremely to one side or the other.

OK, sure if you say so. NO deregulation POlicy, there was zero Middle east policies, Yet business floorished, and there were peace deals in the Middle east. just as 2 examples.

Well whatever it was, it worked.

More like people are being forced back into the workforce en masse now that unemployment subsidies have run out and they can't get paid to sit on their couch anymore.

Roughly 10 million Americans are unemployed, yet hiring slowed sharply in April as the US reopened. The labor-shortage trend has less to do with too few workers and more to do with rethinking labor. The pandemic and stimulus led Americans to reevaluate work — and demand higher pay for it. See more stories on Insider's business page.

You didn't just say they both suck, you said we'd clearly be better off with Trump, did you not? Give me specifics on how we'd be better off. Just saying "they both suck" doesn't cut it.

well they all own this. They own Afghanistan, the high inflation rate, the Supply chain shortages...

It's all theirs.

Ahh amnesia

Inflation, Afghanistan, Supply chain shortages, border crises increased.

I know BUT TRUMP.

The payments to the illegals is the veneer that hides the classic Washington corruption involved here. The illegals won’t get close to half this money. This is a payoff to the ACLU, will fund them for at least a year, and leave plenty left over for kickbacks to the politicians (and 10% to the big guy, of course).  They’re happy to have people enraged about paying illegal immigrants to break our laws, it deflects from their true intentions.

the story is not as simple as Trumplicans want it to be. you have people suing the US government in court over the child separation policy that your preferred moron of a president put in place

so the only people this affects is those who had children separated from them by our dip-ish former president's policy, and the US DOJ can either decide to let it play out in court or settle the case out of court.

the cause of the problem is abundantly clear: Trump's policies continue to inflict costs. one way or the other, whether this is fought in the courts or settled out of court, this is the price tag of stupidity.

all you MAGA people who cheered on the "cruelty is the point" border policies can either step back and acknowledge that "maybe we could have done this a different way" or you can double-down on stupidity. I know what some of you will choose, though despite our differences of opinion I know you @The_Omega have a moral compass and might, even if you don't always express it, actually consider the full story.

If that was true you'd have seen people flocking back to work sooner in the states that suspended those benefits earlier.

But you didn't see that.

I for one was supportive of rolling back those policies sooner nationally, and was rather surprised that they didn't make measurable difference in those states that chose to end benefits sooner. But that's the truth of it.

I did not say that we'd be better off with Trump right now.  But frankly, the pivot from energy independence to begging OPEC to turn the spigot on and the surge at the border are two examples of issues we would not be dealing with like we are right now.  We also wouldn't have lost 13 soldiers in Afghanistan or left other Americans behind.  The difference between you and I is that I see positives and negatives to both administrations.  For most in here it's "President X bad, President y good" line of thinking only.

Yeah, I mean, I know all trumpbots are illiterate, but those aren't specifics. Start with a dictionary if any of the words I'm using are confusing to you.

1. Inflation happens when you have to stimulate the economy back to life. We went through this same thing song and dance over a decade ago.
2. Yep, we're out of Afghanistan. You're welcome.
3. Supply chain shortages affected by a pandemic.  Man, if only Biden had actually reacted to the pandemic when it was first being observed we might have been able to blunt the spread.
4. Ah yes, of course. The caravans. The invading brown armies of rapists and murderers that seemingly blink in and out of existence based on who the current president is.
