Do you have any idea how much it would cost per person to build high speed internet cables for rural America? This is a BIG country. Once you get out to rural areas you can have miles between each household. There's no economy of scale.

But yeah, she wouldn't stand a chance against Trump and thankfully, she won't get that chance because she'd never make it out of the primary. I think Susan Rice would have done that and been less annoying. For some reason they were worried about the Bengazi thing.

Fortunately I have a decent ISP available to me, but I don’t have to go very far to find people who don’t.

Fox News et al got millions in ad revenue and Republicans whipped up their base over years of Benghazi fishing expeditions. Most STILL think Hillary engineered the whole thing just for kicks.

Third, there are death threats being levied against school board members (AND THEIR FAMILIES) across the country, and your major concern is that law enforcement is being asked to assess and substantiate these threats in an attempt to identify if some whacko actually might follow through on a threat? Are you freaking serious? I know school boards are where whackadoo Trumplicans are looking to make the front line of their war against all things "not Trumpy enough," but law enforcement has every goddamn right to verify and substantiate threats made against citizens.
November 16, 20213 yr Tell me - what precisely is wrong with this email? A "threat tag" is literally just a tag on an incident in a database. That's it. It's used to organize the data. Data that they then use to inform how they approach the issue. If there are no threats discovered, the tag won't be used. If there are, they can help to identify potential areas where credible threats are more common. This is literally Rufo's "smoking gun". That you fall for this ish is hilarious.

November 16, 20213 yr While it's true that there isn't a ROI other than maybe some bridge won't collapse killing people. If such a thing were to happen, even though neglected infrastructure lies solely at the feet of the bungling states, the usual suspects would be in this forum crowing "How could president pop pop allow this to happen!!!!11!!!!!!1?!?!?!?"

Welcome to leadership. The buck stops on your desk even if it didnt start there.
November 16, 20213 yr The transcontinental railroad, Hoover dam, and interstate highway system have "no ROI"? I think a chunk of this money should go to fighting NIMBYism and other local impediments to meaningful infrastructure development. For sure it's harder to stretch the infrastructure dollar now than it was when you could run asphalt over the poors. But declaring "no ROI" out of the gate is overstating. Unless you mean "no political ROI", in which case I agree that the infrastructure deal isn't going to be on voters' minds Nov 2022.

First of all, Republican lawmakers are making the charge, not Rufo, and the whistleblower is actually named, not some bogus anonymous source. Second of all, the FBI is part of the DOJ, which Garland runs, so yes he F’ing does.
