  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

I don't understand why Biden is increasing his pledge from 1 million to 1.5 million vaccinations a day when we haven't even gotten the program off the ground yet. Seems like he's setting it up for disappointment.

Hey guys, I'm Not-A-Trumper NVEagle here, good to be back after a going missing for two months to sulk over the election loss, and I'm totally Not-Gonna-Vote-For-Him again, but here's a 5,000 word essay defending him because someone dared to insinuate he was a bad president.

I think it’s because they were at about 970,000 per day when he took office.  Upping it to 1M probably didn’t seem much of an improvement, so going to 1.5M is the goal now.

Ya I changed it because it lacked the coherence and structure of a thesis. Didn't want to misrepresent that work of art.

Wasn't it originally 1M, though? If it was, those numbers would've allowed them to say that they were right on track.

Do your research.

Easy to search the web for the long list of accomplishments such as energy, court judges, middle east peace, Jerusalem embassy, border wall, lowest unemployment pre China virus, lower regulations lower taxes, VA approval rating, etc.

Yeah whenever families struggle to pay their bills each month, the can rest easy knowing that the embassy was moved to Jerusalem and that a few miles of an easily climbable wall were constructed.

I never saw the post. No idea why I thought someone writing a thesis in CVON was funny but I chuckled lol

Right, their goal was 100M vaccines in 100 days.  Going into him taking office, they were (based on the recent average) 97M instead of 100M in the first 100 days.  While it’s an improvement, it doesn’t seem very impressive as it’s potentially likely that the average would’ve increased as time went on, so shooting for 1.5M per day gives them something to shoot for that’s potentially achievable and they can then take credit as well for getting there.

I didn't say anything regarding an excuse or "but". You are literally too stupid to understand how stupid your "points" are.

You can't refute the facts of the Trump administration.  You just attack the man's personality.

Just like liberals accusing people of they themselves are doing.

WRONG -- See you just admitted that you don't get it -- that you don't understand.  Personality is something like -- he's happy go lucky or he's cool or he's fun to be with or he's charming or he's a sour-puss.  That's personality.  What we (and most normal people) don't like about Trump is his character (rather lack thereof).  Character is not equivalent to personality.

Trump objectively (not subjectively) lacks morals, principles, ethics and leadership - his own family members agree  (i.e. see fraud charity; fraud university; excluding minorities in dad's apartments; paying hush money; trying to strong arm Ukraine; trying to strong arm GA election officials; trying to make the justice dept his personal attorneys; ripping off contractors; 4000 lawsuits -- that's right, 4, F'in thousand; sexual infidelities by around 20 accusers; lying about the election for months that he lost big -time and bringing frivolous lawsuits, culminating in a mob on the capitol; abdicating responsibility and leadership in the biggest crisis of our time - the pandemic; just to name a few of his lowlights).   Those are NOT personality traits.   These are exemplars of an odious hideous person who does not belong as a visitor to the White House (let alone living there).

He is is incurious and anti-intellectual, he is impulsive and vindictive - he demands loyalty, but in the end gives none.  These are all character traits  - not personality traits.  And those character traits  are not something that YOU nor anyone who is sane should or does want in a leader of a democracy  - the President of the US, the leader of the free world.

Now go ahead, deflect, or attack me as the messenger, bring up Hunter, bring up China --  bring up the many Biden flaws ; do all the whatabouts you want---  sorry you still lose.  You just refuse to see the evidence before your eyes.

If you see the above flaws in trump, but don't care, that's worse.  That means as long as you get what you think you want, its ok, and it doesn't matter how you get it (oh look, the stock market is up - oh yeah, it must be because of that genius trump).

On the other hand, I consider it important that the leader of the US and the free world is someone that people can look up to, that isn't a bully, that respects the rule of law, that our allies can respect and sets good examples of leadership throughout the federal government and for the citizens of the US.

If you don't care, great -- then we simply have nothing to talk about, because you are as bad a person as Trump.   You are all about anything to get what you want that you think is good politically or economically or for your family, screw everybody else, screw the optics and the hell with dignity, intellectualism or grace.  Any means to an end -- everything for himself/yourself.

And yes, I frankly don't give a damn that he built a very small part of the wall that we paid for (not Mexico); I don't give a damn where an embassy sits in another country; and its great for rich folks that he did some tax breaks for the wealthy with a cynical small amount for others (THAT EXPIRES SOON);  the rest of the crap you care about that his historically bad administration did doesn't matter if the guy is a giant enormous dick.   Sorry, that's the way it is.

Guys...guys...guys...GUYS...

He copied it directly from a release Trump put on WH.gov the last week of his presidency

Let's not gloss over that nativist "buy American" executive order either.

Read the whole thing.   What Trump did or didn't do is not all that relevant.  He is NOT qualified to be a leader of a democracy due to his many many many many (did I say many) character flaws.  And at the end of the day, he didn't crap gold or make monkeys fly.  In other words, his "accomplishments" aren't really that mind blowing.   He is not a diplomat (no one is going to confuse him with Kissinger or Nixon's China diplomacy), and arguably the economy had been recovering under Obama and thus continued onward.  Trump is no economist, he acts by the seat of his pants, off hunches and impulses -- I doubt he understands monetary policy or how the fed works (other than a simplistic view -- hey keep interest rates down buddy, or I'll fire you).    He didn't bring back coal; he didn't bring back blue collar factory jobs so that those people can make a decent middle class living. He primarily helped himself and his buddies.  When things got tuff, he basically checked out (see pandemic, see election loss).

Even if you, for sake of argument say, oh Trump helped stimulate the economy (whether by explicit policies, luck or being there during the right time) and created some jobs --  it is not even close to overcoming his giant Dickiness and giant character flaws.    Ya know, they said Mussolini made the trains run on time.    Yay -- so we get some good things from corrupt a-holes.   That doesn't mean they belong in the Whitehouse.      Some good things ain't enuf and we are better than that.

Just some thoughts on the first major Biden Q&A with reporters after he spoke today.

Holy freaking contrast.

He answered questions fully, he gave detailed answers, he was hopeful and talked about respect for others, he didn't mention his own greatness, didn't mention Trump, didn't mention his election, didn't mention the size of his crowd or how wonderful he is.  He just talked about the important things he's doing.  The executive orders he's signing and why they're necessary.  He is conversing with the press as a man who knows how the legislative branch works, and how things get done in Washington.  Not guessing and flailing, and lying just to get through questions.  Then at the end, his staff tells him they are done and need to go, and he refuses and takes 1 more question from a FOX reporter.  He answers it fully... gives the guy respect.  Then puts on a MASK and walks out like a BOSS.

It was stunning.  And very clearly painted the Trump PC's of the last 4 years as the amateur, incompetent, morally bankrupt clown shows they were.

But but but,  he helps white people and cubans and even rappers like him, and my stocks went up and, my uncle got a job after being unemployed for awhile.  Oh, and he said funny 3 word things (so they are easy to remember) -- like "lock her up" and "make america great".     And yeah, I saved $43.28 on my taxes.  So ain't Trump grand despite all that?  Ain't he?   Anybody?  Hello out there?     Oh, ok, I'll go play golf in Florida.

BG and Caesar's interactions are my absolute favorite thing about this place
