Company I work for is on a skeleton crew because of call outs and/or covid results.  We are cutting production left and right.  Sales were through the roof, which didn't help thing when the workers started to not show up.  But it's a thing.  Empty shelves all over the place here in NC.  Good news is that it's not the entire store.  If you can't find what you're looking for, get something else.  But to deny it is an issue is silly.  Our company is just one example and we have cut down the skus we produce and are at 85% production right now.  And it will only get worse.

Back in the summer, the wife and I had a short but good conversation about what "might" happen during this winter-  she slowly stocked up. We have enough supplies to last us a few months. Cupboards are full. She goes to the store weekly,  not really buying anything extra- just replacing what we used so we remain stocked.

  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

Why? You a communist or something? Quick question, why do you hate America and our God-fearing president?

Let me ask you somethings, since I know you are trolling here:

Was this the same sentiment you had for the entire 4 years of the last President. DId you often say the exact same things? DId you give him the same undying support you are showing the current guy who has 33% approval rating?

All I ask is for our president to be God-fearing and love his wife (in that order). As long as our last president did that then I was supportive.

No. He's clearly mocking the gaggle of Trump supporters that for 4 years everyday posted sentiments of their incessant love of their orange god.

I have never been that guy.  My FIL is a prepper....waste of money.  We can always find food.  But to deny there is a supply chain issue is naïve.

He's a moderate.  LOL

We are not preppers, But I hate running out of stuff I like to have regularly.  We got enough to make it through the winter.  Growing up, we had a extra large chest style freezer that was always full of meats, frozen veggies etc.  Some of that rubbed off on me.

I'm sure he is. LOL

I hate Wal Mart with a passion.  Sorry....I know a job is a job.  No offense.

Don't think I have set foot in one in like 20 years. In college, we went to the one all the way down by the Delaware River. Long haul from campus, but worth it to stock up for the semester.

I love Al Gore but he's a little old at this point. We are happy with our youthful and spry president!

"I get exercise. I mean I walk, I this, I that,” Trump told Reuters. "I run over to a building next door. I get more exercise than people think.”

So. To summarize Trump’s exercise regimen:

  1. Walking
  2. This
  3. That
  4. Run to building next door
  5. Unspecified number of repetitions

Does he have any idea how much time all that walking, this, that, and running to the next building is going to shave off his lifespan?

According to video, trump has arteriosclerosis, which is plaque in his arteries, otherwise known, as heart disease according to Dr. Sanjay Gupta.

Trump says that everyone he knows who goes to the gym ends up with knee and hip replacements. LOL.

This was thoroughly debunked yesterday by the dude that stocks the shelves at the piggly wiggly in BFE Kentucky - there are no food shortages

I'm hoping the presidential physicians are monitoring salt levels.

I noticed tortilla chips of all things were out of stock.  I had to buy the bite-size rounds.

We had a small amount of student loans to pay from when my wife first got her associates degree and we had little money. We already paid that. The next 2 years and her masters, which she will finish by summer, were paid by her job in full.

You mean your wife went to school for a degree that can actually earn her a living? Interesting concept. Too bad Hazel didn’t do the same.
