Why is that so unbelievable? There were people here that thought Trump was gonna win. And then when he lost, they said he was going to somehow steal the election and they posted on here over and over like Chicken Little that the sky was falling every five minutes. Remember those clowns?

  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

Is Biden giving out crack too or just crack pipes?  Because I’d be pretty disappointed if I got a pipe, but no crack.

That's a solid choice for the predict the leftist insanity thread: demands for free illegal drugs to promote racial equity.

No, those morons definitely sounded like unhinged, scared freaks. There was this one guy in particular...

Yep.  Because the Republicans are dumb for continuing to lick Trumps boots.

Republicans are being led by their constituents. A Republican rep putting distance between themselves and Trump is playing with fire, and they know it.

The politicians are a reflection of the political reality inherent in the base.

That’s a broad brush.  I don’t agree it’s as widespread as you think.  Not all republicans are those dopes that attend rallies or were there on Jan 6.

The latter is very true. It's also true to say that the majority of those who attended the Jan 6 protest/demonstration did not participate in the violence or even "meander" in to the Capitol building after Congress and the Capitol Police had retreated.

But a plurality of Republican voters still believe Trump won, and a large plurality still strongly support him. In most areas of the nation, being critical of Trump or even just his baseless claims as a Republican can earn you a punishment that includes being stripped of committee seats, censure by state and in some cases the national party, and even threats of expulsion from the party.

This may be waning a bit as time goes on, though I don't think it's so much a change in people's opinions because of new evidence as it is just time going on and Trump's statements looking more and more like a sore loser lashing out at everyone. But it doesn't change the calculus much for Republicans in the midterms.

You may see a lot of Youngkin imitators trying to ride a line where they aren't openly embracing Trump, and are allowing his supporters and to a limited extent Trump himself to advocate for their candidacy, while keeping enough distance to woo back some of the suburban voters who look at Trump and run the other way.

The crack pipe thing is FakeNews™. The "safe smoking kits" do not contain pipes.

Quote

What is the grant for?

In a first-of-its-kind federal grant to be distributed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, a branch of HHS, dozens of organizations across the country would be able to spend the money over three years on a preapproved list of resources, including referrals to treatment, infectious-disease testing kits, condoms, and vaccinations for hepatitis A and B.

Also on the list: "safe smoking kits.” Typically, such kits include a rubber mouthpiece to prevent cuts and burns, brass screens to filter contaminants and disinfectant wipes, according to Harm Reduction International.

Favaro, whose program does not distribute the "safe smoking kits” approved by HHS, said groups that provide kits typically don’t include a glass pipe as it is expensive relative to providing the rubber mouthpiece. Clean glass pipes are intended to curb sharing pipes and spreading oral infections or injecting with needles, a riskier method of doing drugs.

Yeah, I mean...the RNC just censured Cheney and Kinzinger. The party infrastructure is still completely subservient to its Orange Overlord.

The real issue, however, is the fervor among Trump's acolytes and supporters. In a primary only the truly dedicated vote -- and Trump can mobilize his army of imbeciles to vote out anyone who crosses him. This is why the entire primary system is so stupid -- it pushes forward candidates from the extreme because only the fringes of both parties can be counted on to turn out in a primary election. If a GOP congressman wants to challenge Trump...he/she won't do it until AFTER they win the primary at the earliest.

Exactly. Trump is still the most powerful Republican in the nation despite his lack of elected office. He has power because he has an army of imbeciles who are still looking to him, and for whom his endorsement is paramount. And that group represents a motivated plurality of voters who are among the most eager to cast their votes in the primary.

As soon as Oz announced his candidacy the Trumplicans in my family started posting on Facebook "did Trump endorse Oz?"

And Oz is totally playing to them with his "they tried to cancel me" and "I'm an outsider who can't be bought" schtick. These people are so F'ing gullible.

I don't think they're buying though.

Trump's endorsement of apparent wife abuser Sean Parnell is still hanging out there even though Parnell suspended his campaign, and he has not endorsed any candidates in the current race.

The PA Republicans didn't even endorse a specific candidate. I can't say for sure whether that's because Trump has not endorsed anyone, but it sure seems like the PA GOP was afraid of Trump lashing out at them if they endorsed the "wrong" candidate.

Dude is definitely an oddball, but the caption is completely misleading. Apparently the guy was into roleplaying as a "handler" with one role being that of a submissive dog. Weird, sure, but no more deviant than a lot of other kinks. Why does it really matter what these people do in the bedroom? Especially knowing the last guy's history.

Also, wtf is with the "Even in Weimar" comment? Are these some NSDAPs still wringing their fists over the "depravity of the Weimar Republic?" Really showing their true colors here!

Yes, Jon Miller the black NSDAP! You caught him! You and Moss should introduce him to Andy Ngo, the Asian white supremacist.

Everyone I know has at least 10 Biden flags, one for every vote they plan to cast in the next election!

Wait for it.
