  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

You don't need a hat and a sticker to be in a cult.  Yard signs seem to be the chosen self identifier of the left's cult members.

At the rate he's going that will happen long before the election

But it won't though, unless the red hats give it another try

Right.  The "insurrection".  I almost forgot in the 42 seconds that have past since someone here mentioned it last.

We wont have to wait for the election to see Dems roiting, just wait till Roe Vs Wade is overturned.

If runs Biden and loses it will be interesting to see how many people  attack the capital and try to hang Harris.

  You're surprised that someone brought up the insurrection in a conversation that was specifically about the insurrection?

Quote

Groups that meet this definition tend to have an escalating negative impact on the lives of followers. These groups exhibit many common characteristics:

One charismatic leader is the group's sole authority on truth; only this leader decides, or has the right to approve, all policies and practices.

Members are zealous, protective, and unquestioningly committed to the leader.

Members regard the leader's beliefs and practices as truth and law; the leader affirms and enforces this idea.

Questioning, doubt, and dissent are discouraged or punished.

The group's leadership dictates how members should think, act, and feel. Members require the leader's permission to change jobs, date, marry, or have children. The leader tells members where they can live and how to teach and discipline their children.

 The group uses public humiliation or punishment, debilitating work, sleep deprivation, or other practices to create group-think and to suppress individualism and doubt.

Criticism or jokes about the leader or group are taken very seriously and likely punished.

The group is elitist, claiming special status for itself, its leaders, and its members.

The leader and members maintain theirs is the only path to truth and salvation.

idk if you guys do the sleep deprivation thing...but you check a bunch of the other boxes.

The conversation is about Joe Biden, in case you missed the title.  But there is only one "conversation" that ever happens in here.

The conversation was whether or not there would be an insurrection in favor of Biden.  Aside from the answer obviously being no because literally no one on earth is as fragile, angry and disgusting as the American right, it's literally the conversation you were having.  About insurrections.  How can you start a conversation about insurrections and then say, "here we go again, we're gonna talk about insurrections".

I did nothing of the sort.  I started a conversation yesterday about the utter failure that Biden has been, which was immediately deflected back to Trump and the "insurrection".

I have since partaken in that conversation only to marvel at the hysteria that still dominates the discussion in here.

You're surprised that a coup attempt is talked about a year a half later, while the Commission that investigated that coup attempt is releasing their findings?

It's all he has anymore lmao.

No, there is a thread for that.  What I'm surprised about is that none of you will allow any substantive conversation about Joe Biden in the Joe Biden thread.

Actually, that's not true.  I'm not at all surprised.

So you are here to police and moderate this subforum?

I mean, what is there really to talk about? Biden hasn't been good. Not sure anyone would argue otherwise. Unless you compare politicians to alternatives, there's not much to debate -- they're all awful.

What do you want to talk about that hasn't been mentioned 10 thousand times?  Old man bad?  Old man stutter?  Or Hunter Biden's laptop?  Which of these compelling, not at all beaten like a dead horse topics are you looking to hash out?

i think we should talk about gas prices a little more.

No I'm posting my thoughts and remarks. You, on the other hand:

cry like whatever pronoun you prefer to call it every time certain topics are brought up.  Feel free to continue, just realize it means nothing to anyone reading it.

BTW, Trump lost and Biden is your president.

There's nothing comparable to Trump as far as cultish devotion from morons. The closest on the left is the Bernie-bros.

Side note: anyone know where this gif is from? I swear that guy looks exactly like Frank Spadone who's an obscure stand-up comedian from Canada, but I doubt he was ever in a movie/tv show that would be popular enough for a gif like that to come from.

Come on, they even have membership cards to their cult. Offical ones at that.
