Sanders acting like a smart, rational human being per usual...

I thought it was interesting. If any senator didn't get on bord with Trump's agenda, he'd go bananas and primary them. Biden just seems to accept it. While Trump's way is obviously over the top, one of Biden's problems is not getting his own party behind him.

  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

Yeah, but the issue is that Manchin would be replaced by a Republican. The goal should be to be smarter than Trump (not a high bar). Trump's idiocy is going to lose the GOP Senate seats again, just like he did in the Georgia runoffs.

Biden needs to tell the progressive wing of his party to screw off. It's not like they're going to vote GOP all of a sudden.

People need to understand that THE ONLY THING keeping Manchin in his seat is his opposition to progressive politics.

If he goes too far left, hes gone.  He knows it.

He is relishing his ability to control policy and hes more powerful than Bernie Sanders, politically.  Dont make me laugh, Bernie.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, who absolutely let loose on Manchin during an interview with ABC News on Sunday

“[Manchin] has sabotaged the president’s agenda. No, look, if you check the record, six months ago, I made it clear that you have people like Manchin, [Arizona Sen. Kyrsten] Sinema to a lesser degree, who are intentionally sabotaging the President’s agenda, what the American people want, what a majority of us in the Democratic caucus want. Nothing new about this. And the problem was that we continue to talk to Manchin like he was serious. He was not. This is a guy who is [a] major recipient of fossil fuel money, a guy who has received campaign contributions from 25 Republican billionaires. … In my humble opinion, Manchin represents the very wealthiest people in this country, not working families in West Virginia or America.”

It wasn't that long ago that Sanders was an outlier and known as the only Socialist in Congress.  It really reflects on the electorate today that he has become mainstream - poorly reflects on the electorate.

Someone called for him to be kicked out of the Democratic party.  Would be a big self inflicted wound for the Dems.  Wasn't too long ago that there were Southern conservative Dems.  Manchin would seem like a leftist compared to some of them.

Hunter Biden: Most Voters Think His Father Profited From Foreign Deals

1,000 people surveyed by Rasmussen a republican polling group. So a little more than half of republicans believe the crap they hear a thousand times a day on Fox News. Shocking.

Remember when they told us orange man was a fascist?

I believe they are referring to the one in charge of the teleprompter. The only thing Biden is interested in seizing are women and children in order to get his "whiff" on.

Because the alternative to Manchin is a GOP senator. Power politics doesn’t work if you primary a member of your own party and end up with the opposition party instead.

Both sides have been pandering to their nutty extremes lately. Would be much better if both f'd off but as you say its a reflection on the electorate that they have gotten more powerful in recent years.

Puts Biden in a tough spot. He's not very good at getting his own party behind him. Trump is a loon but arguably a more effective politician. Ironic since he was the "I'm not a politician candidate".

On student loan forgiveness. The Biden administration is honoring the previous agreement on student loan forgiveness. 10 years service to a non profit for student loan forgiveness.

It's a lot easier to get Republicans to line up than Democrats.

Apparently. I thought Trump would have trouble when he was elected. I've always been surprised at how they line up behind him. They just seem to live in fear of the base.

Republicans are team-oriented to begin with. Theyr'e team Red even if Red is trying to overthrow democracy. And they're more afraid of a good Democrat than a bad Republican. Also, the left are globalist cucks trying to outsource your jobs to China.

Everything is fear and grievance based.
