They are all probably scared he will attempt to send the Justice Department after them. Oh, wait, that was the last guy.

  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

Yes, mobilizing FEMA helped immensely. They set up huge vaccination operations near population centers, and mobile vaccination vehicles to reach more rural areas. None of that started or was even being considered while Trump was throwing his temper tantrum over losing.

The country is "worse" because we - and the world economy - is still dealing with the aftershocks of Covid. The global supply chain was kneecapped, old refineries were shut down and simply won't reopen because the profit isn't there. More dollars were printed by the Fed in Trump's final year than Biden's presidency so far, so the inflation was coming regardless since between supply issues and money printing there's your inflation issues.

If Trump was still president we'd be in the same situation. Possibly (probably frankly) worse because he'd be bullying the Fed into lowering rates, but I don't want to go far out on a ledge speculating on what Trump would or wouldn't have done.

But his history is consistent with a guy who maximizes the short term and tries to dump the longer term problems (like paying contractors) on someone else.

That sort of ... decisionmaking ... can look really good when things are fairly stable and operating normally. Which they were until an actual crisis requiring leadership both in skill and communication hit us march 2020.

That's when Trump was exposed.

False

Covid was never worse than when it started, sell that bull ish somewhere else.

The medias reaction to covid is the sole reason Trump lost.  To say things would be as bad as they are now is completely baseless and delusional

To the tens of thousands of lives it undoubtedly saved? Yes, dumb F, it made a difference.

lmao if you're just making up numbers, why stop at tens of thousands when you could have gone with millions?

No its more like when Obama/Biden targeted and spied on unfriendly reporters and weaponized the IRS as a political weapon.

That was before CNN told you to be outraged, though.

This.

After covid and Jan 6th, WGB got a septum ring, shaved one half of his head and dyed the other side purple.

You read about as well as you do everything else. Poorly.

Lol ok sure

Prove it

Prove a vaccine saves lives? Prove a seatbelt does. Prove the paint chips you ate didn't cause your brain damage. No, it's just easier to call you stupid.

No, prove Bidens "FEMA mobilization" saved "tens of thousands of lives"

I think it was a meaningless, symbolic gesture to placate useful idiots.

It provided access to vaccination far sooner and more efficiently than Trump's "let the states figure out" approach ever would've. I was vaccinated at one of the sites by a crew of USAF dudes who had that long ass line moving faster than a chick-fil-a drive thru.

Did it save your life?

Would you have gotten the vaccine without this "mobilization?"

IMO it made only marginal difference.  Looking back now Im not sure how you can argue that

It was more about creating the perception that Biden was going to save the day.

How's the governance of our presidential potato going today?

No, I'm not an at-risk demo

Not as soon, the existing appt I had was for April 25th, which was more than 3 weeks after I ended up getting it at Ford Field.

You once famously argued that without Trump the vaccine never would've been authorized before the end of 2020, so it's painfully clear by now that you're not even remotely tethered to reality when it comes to this subject.

Yes. I love the way Biden bio-engineered the virus to make each mutation less and less severe.

This is wrong too. Delta was both inherently more transmissible and more pathogenic than Alpha.

I said less severe. Its not wrong. I know they are more transmissible.

People arent as sick. Way less are dying.

ok... what we are dealing with now is very much less severe. What we have been dealing with for the past year has been very much less severe. This hasnt been a big deal in quite some time. Cases spread, and no one really cares anymore because we really dont need to be afraid of dying. Even long covid is far, far less common, and not really a fear anymore.

Now its going to feel like a cold, or maybe a little flu like achiness. And then its gone.

Wrong again. Omicron emerged in SA just over 8 months ago, it hit here mid Dec and took over about a month later. Everything before that was Delta which hit last summer. Delta was very much a big deal. Regardless though, the risk to unvaccinated patients with no prior immunity has always been high and still very much is, which is why daily deaths soared in Jan despite this "very much less severe" variant.

Laying the ground work to move Biden out.
