Presidents don't have much impact on gas prices in the short term. Of course policies they put into play have long term consequences. Regulatory headwinds are there because of government policy. But are any actions taken by Biden as president contributing to gas prices going as high as they did? Very very little, if at all. Nor are any actions taken by him causing the price to drop now. But it'll continue to be a political football because this nation is very sensitive to gas prices.
