President Joe Biden signed the CHIPS and Science bill into law Tuesday, authorizing $52 billion in subsidies for semiconductor production and boosting funding for research.

President Joe Biden on Tuesday signed NATO accession protocols for Finland and Sweden, moving the defense alliance closer to adding two wealthy, militarily advanced members amid Russia’s ongoing assault on Ukraine.

While the fat loser was busy hoarding classified docs and getting busted, Biden was casually piling up wins for America and the world.

Biden has accomplished more in 2 years than Trump in 4.

  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

Is Joe Biden the best president we've ever had?

Just asking questions.

I'd say the IRS is properly staffed but just like every other government agency - lazy and poor at their job.

Federal employee unions should be illegal

They are the biggest cause of govt incompetence

I had an accountant who was just getting old and making mistakes. They caught his mistake on my return in no time flat. They seem pretty efficient to me

In 1990, a few years after the rarest legislation in Washington: tax reform that slimmed down the tax code, the IRS employed almost 120k people. The US population at the time was 250m.

32 years later we have 350m or thereabouts in population, a more complicated tax code, and 40k fewer IRS employees.

As I posted earlier I'd support simplification of the tax code and an expansion of the tax base. I'd support a VAT.

I'd also love a solid gold toilet and a hall pass to disappoint Salma Hayek for a week. Both are more likely.

Within that reality, expanding the IRS workforce makes sense. It's probably the cheapest way to raise revenue, and since neither party is going to stop spending this is among the least bad options.

You can either be practical or live in a fantasy world. You can't be both.

And there have been very few technological advances or other changes in the world of business since 1990 so there should be a direct linear relationship between population and IRS staffing levels

lmao absolutely wrecked.

It's actually impressive what these people will say. They just know their retarded cult will believe it no matter what.

Looks like they're going back and forth on what Biden will do about student loans. For now the pause ends soon

No way they resume payments before the midterms.

Yes because if there's one thing the new GOP is known for, it's creating political harmony and bipartisan cooperation.

?? When did I bring up the GOP??

I thought this thread was about Biden, and that was his campaign promise.  That played a big role on him winning independent votes.

Straight up lie

He has put forth several pieces of legislation with bipartisan/independent support. The infrastructure bill, the gun control package, the semiconductor bill. Just because the obstructionist Qtard demographic is voting no regardless of the issues doesn't mean he's not reaching moderates with half a brain.

That would be the GOP, who is forcing through largely unpopular nonsense like abortion bans.

He doesn't get nearly the credit he deserves. Even gas prices are coming down, but it goes unnoticed. There is no left wing equivalent of fox news to stream how awesome he is 24 hours a day.
