And also, the CDC only publishes guidelines, so ultimately it's up to the states to make informed decisions on whether to open schools, not the CDC. The states can use discretion when deciding whether or not to follow the guidelines.

February 26, 20214 yr Author The Senate parliamentarian ruled that the min. wage increase must be removed from the reconciliation bill. Regardless of my personal position on min. wage, I think this was the correct ruling. The reconciliation process has been abused lately, and putting min. wage in the bill would've really opened up a can of worms. It was a pretty short-sighted attempt by the Democrats.
