Oh to be a fly on the wall when you tell your IRL friends about how you caught a "trumpbot" not knowing how much foreign aid we've given Ukraine. You'll feel like the biggest guy in the room.

I rarely talk politics with them, but hypothetically speaking, I'd probably mention something noteworthy and significant, not something that happens multiple times per day. Talking about trumpbots being uninformed rubes is like pointing out water is wet and the sky is blue. Everyone knows this already, so it's redundant to even bring it up in the first place.

What were you asking vikas by using this meme? https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/wat It was a "What are you talking about?" kind of response. I was under the impression that you could still get student loans directly from private lenders, as I did all through college. So, I was humorously asking for clarification. I wasn't sure whether it was a typo or if I was actually missing something.

A better conversation would have you mentioning or asking about testosterone every other time you open your mouth.

And instead of admitting it's not anywhere in the ballpark, you decide to double down by implying it's in the "hundreds of billions." Then you try to walk that back further by saying you know it's close to $100B if not more. Now you're trying to hide behind the usual "I was just asking questions" shtick you idiots always resort to. Why are you so upset, Mike? Aren't you the "F your feelings" crowd? Don't be such a triggered little snowflake because someone called you out for being stupid. Exact amount, off by orders of magnitude, same difference. So how much has Biden spent?

While College loan Foregiveness directly benefits a percentage of people at the expense of others who did not receive the benefits. How you can compare the two as even being close to the same for the purposes of "vote bribing" is just idiocy. But I come to expect that from some in here. When we bypass congress and give emergency powers to the supreme chancellor, there’s a good reason for it 😆

August 25, 20223 yr 10 hours ago, Ipiggles said: So you are deflecting instead of debating the points? Got it. My problems with College Loan forgiveness are simple. It directly benefits a percentage of people who are the only ones who benefited from that education and loan. This is not something ALL US citizens will benefit from. And it is shifting that responsibilities to tax payers who did not receive the benefit of a college education. All the while those with Degrees "should" have higher earnings potential. Thats why you went to college, why you invested in yourself. So people who have less earning potential, likely making less money beacuse they did not receive a degree, are now paying through taxes, the loans of those who will make more money then them as a benefit they received from that education? Yeah It is a clear bribe- the benefit went directly to individuals and not all US citizens. Illegal immigration doesn’t affect me and I couldn’t care less about it. Furthermore Trump’s stupid wall didn’t even work. Your argument is an epic fail.

Id just like to keep a running tally on how many billions of our dollars Biden has decided to spend without any input from voters So we care about the debt again? Whoever is president, we are going to spend trillions on something. Sticking it to Putin and protecting our national security interest seems as a good a thing as any.

If Republicans care about reducing the deficit, then they’d be voting for a Democratic President and a Republican House, because that’s the only combination that ever makes a dent in it these days.

PPP loans were structured as forgive-able loans at the time of issuance. So when a company took a PPP loan, it knew that it would be forgiven if the use of funds qualified. Had the loans not been designed that way from inception, it is doubtful that such a large number of companies would have taken them. Criticizing people for getting their PPP loans forgiven in accordance with the policy design is ridiculous. But comparing PPP forgiveness to student debt cancellation is ridiculously disingenuous. Student loans weren’t issued as forgive-able loans, and people took them knowing the terms and expected repayment. Now the government is simply changing the terms and screwing taxpayers years after the fact to please a core Democratic constituency.

Not to mention all loans are not created equal Ppp was essentially strategic debt meant to keep people employed. Clear roi. Socializing student loans has a zero roi at best
