Bill is almost 200k and even with all of my different insurance coverages I’m going to be responsible for somewhere around 25k-30k once everything is settled for an accident that was 100% someone else’s fault. Oh, and the hospital put a lien on my house before I was even sent a bill. In basically any other developed county in the world this wouldn’t happen. All too often what happens in these red states is they end up driving people to be more dependent on the state because things like this inevitably happen. This just sucks.
