I still see it as rebugs hating on the Dems-always.  They act like the Dems are going to end the free world.

Having a President in a current state of mental decline is STILL much better than the orange man who did NOTHING for this country except try to overturn election results and use his power to get whatever he wanted.  Seeing him in an orange jump suit will be one of the happiest days of my life.  He's such an awful person, it's laughable to see you pugs putting party before country.  That arsehole cared nothing about being President and he will go down as one of the worst.  The sooner you get a grip and find a candidate you can support the sooner I'll STFU. I don't see Uncle running again.  He's a one term President.  That side also needs to find a worthy candidate.

Unfortunately, Biden has little choice but to run again due to the same reason as last time. He's the best option to beat Trump and nobody else is worth the risk despite any protestations over his flaws. When the alternative is Trump, purity tests go right out the window.

  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

Shocks me that you all believe this.  Biden didn't beat Trump. Trump beat Trump. Trump became so distasteful that people came out of the woodwork to vote against him.  Now, will Biden win against Trump again?  Probably, yes...because Trump will once again destroy himself.

But what if the Republicans effectively oust Trump in the primaries?  Biden won't stand a chance against ANY moderate Republican candidate.  Moreover, he clearly isn't fit for any office at this point no matter how much you all try to dismiss it.

This notion that only Biden can beat Trump is insane to me.  Literally, any moderate Democrat would could defeat him at this point.  So why not run someone that you think can actually govern if they do win?

As funny as the primary line is, I'm also wondering about this line.  Where are these moderate Republicans that you speak of?  Are there any still in the party?  Who are they?  I'm seriously trying to think of a Republican that wasn't excommunicated and hasn't chopped his balls off and handed them to Trump?  Hogan, I guess in Maryland comes to mind, but there's exactly a 0% chance that Republicans would ever nominate someone like him.

Better are wiping his fat orange ass with the constitution, agreed.

Lol yeah ok, you going to tell me Biden saved our constitution too?

Biden clearly violated the constitution in a blatant attempt to buy votes and all of you TDSers are cheering him on as some sort of savior.  Completely delusional, all because Trump hurt your feelings with a few tweets.

You can't even say his behavior was embarrassing considering they have to issue a Silver Alert every time Biden is seen in public.  The guy cant ride a f'ing bike.

You can keep pretending that Trump's worst offenses were merely a few mean tweets, but it makes you look just as epically stupid as when you failed to apply basic mathematics to your argument that an octogenarian couldn't possibly be a millionaire after 35 years on a senator's salary.

Your definition of moderate and mine probably differ, but I'd love to see Nikki Haley, Larry Hogan or even Dan Crenshaw. The problem with primary challengers to Trump is that they all need his white working class vote to win in the general election.  So, many will wait until after 2024 to run...thus leaving the field weak for Trump to run against.

That being said, I talk to a lot of middle class Republicans and the large majority tell me that they won't vote for Trump no matter what.  If a decent candidate does decide to challenge Trump, I think they have a very good chance. The Republicans primary out anyone but Trump and I think Biden get's slaughtered in the polls.

Yes I forgot his other egregious violations like not being directly involved in the January 6th massacre, not being a Russian plant, not getting peed on by hookers (my favorite), that one time he shuffled to the front of the photo op in Europe, and tossing TP like a foul shot....what else am I missing?

Meanwhile Biden has crashed the economy, crashed his bicycle, had his signature legislation fail, embarrassed us multiple times on the international stage and gotten our people killed, and is clearly riddled with dementia so much that he cant be on his own and cant really read anymore.... A true hero

Aside from Hogan, none of those candidates are remotely moderate.  They supported, or directly worked for, a fascist.  They're radicals.

And the primary discussion is irrelevant.  Any challenger has a 0% chance against Trump because there isn't going to be a primary.  It's going to be handed to him and the right will eat it up.

Yes, because you so eloquently and effectively speak for the right.  Back to the narrative we go.

Ya, they're lying.

I just don't see it as Biden Trump again.  Trump will hopefully be convicted of a crime(s) and unable to run, and sorry, Uncle Joe cannot possibly keep up this pace, plus run a campaign.  Let's face it, at some point he should be declared unable to hold the office.  We're not there yet but i fear it's coming. Just watching him today getting off M1 he greeted the 1st person, saw him turn around and signaled to someone else and he handed him something.  I'm guessing it's a few notes as to either who is who, or perhaps the schedule of where and what he's doing.

We both know it's true.  You just won't admit it because then you'd be forced to defend Trump and you want to give it a year or so before you have to dive in head first.

I mean...just stop it. I'd like to be able to vote for a sane human being again, but it's not happening even if there are primaries.

For as much of an ass kicking 2020 was, it was still far, far, far closer than it had any business being. The margin of victory should've been 14% instead of 4%. And there's only one reason for that, trumpbots are the dumbest, most gullible political faction in the history of mankind. Anyone who voted for Trump twice, but now suddenly claims they won't do it a third time, should be assumed to be 100% full of ish until proven otherwise.

No, we don't.  This narrative that all Conservatives are closet MAGA rallygoers is just flat out inaccurate.  If they had a viable alternative I think you'd see a real shift.

Yes.

Dude. It's not a narrative. It's empirical polling data. It sucks, but it is what it is.

This is circular logic. The reason there's no viable alternative is precisely because Trump is still around.

Polls don't look good at the moment, I agree.  But we are a long way from the primaries and a lot will change as the candidates shape up.

You and I are both evidence that a narrative is exactly what it is.  The question is are there enough of us to bring home an alternative.

Unless he is in jail or dead, he's the nominee. Just accept it. It's easier that way.
