I like to cover all possibilities.

It is a possibility whether it aligns with your beliefs or not. The possibility doesn't care what you believe about it's existence. It will persist nonetheless.

  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

Has there ever been a post that's memorable enough to be remembered after 5 years?  Aside from some of my premium content, I can't think of any.  Maybe something from Seamus McPeePee.

Seamus is Toty, not Van. Right? Or is Van saying he pulled the wool over our eyes the whole time?

I wish I could take credit for Seamus - actually now that I think about it, maybe not - but no, Seamus is probably Toty/Arthur whatever his last name is.  Mike just misread my post.

Trump was handed a healthy economy and spent three years without having to deal with a single major crisis.

Biden was handed a dumpster fire by Trump.

Was the dumpster on fire because of trump or the pandemic?

It was staged. 😎

Both. One of the most damaging things Trump did in his 4 years in office (though the list is long) was making Covid a political issue. His initial response to it was to call it a hoax because he thought recognizing it for the crises it was, would hurt his approval numbers (which were already in the toilet). Vaccines, Masks, Social distancing, then all of those quack cures he promoted all became left/right issues when they otherwise would not have been.

I agree that while he didn’t start the fire he didn’t help put it out either. However, I believe the shutdowns added more fuel to the economic fire than trump.

Just like Obama before him. Always gotta call in the Democrats to clean up a Republican president's mess.

My pallet comment was about Obama.  Do you know what year it is, currently?

That's a nice way of putting it. He didn't just "not help put it out;" he dumped gasoline on it.

Trumps economy was at record levels and then the govt destroyed our economy for covid.

Blaming this inflation on Trump is hilarious

Also note that Trump didnt create any crises either.  Biden is dominating Trump with respect to Crises Created.

I feel like the shutdowns would not have been necessary to the extent they were implemented had we had a president who tried to unify the country into fighting the virus. In other words, if people were willing to take some steps to stop the spread (masking, social distancing) shutdowns would not have been necessary. Instead you had half the country engaging in purposefully risky behavior because the president told them it was a hoax. My Trumpbot family members were determined to go to more crowded events unmasked to "stick it to the libs".

Also Trump literally threw away the Obama pandemic response materials and never restocked the supply of emergency PPE equipment.

Yes, he made COVID a political issue, but this is about the economy he was "handed” and the one he "gave” to Biden.

I believe the economy trump handed Biden would have been a dumpster fire no matter who was in office at the time.

Yeah hes the one who made it an issue.  Jesus...

He literally blamed China and people like you cried and blamed Trump. He said it was a hoax that the Dems were blaming him for it.  Google it yourself or continue to be a misinformed TDSer.

Whats even more hilarious is that even with the benefit of hindsight, you still wont acknowledge that Trump handled it well and the DNC fooled you into thinking Joe Biden had some sort of alternate plan that made any difference whatsoever.  All he did was push the vaccines that were already created.

And as you know local govts controlled that.  But nice try.  Any other ideas?
