The best path to the White House for the left is still to be a popular dem in a red state. Ohio is basically a red state with occasional lapses of consciousness.

Sounds like the Dems are just more willing to change based on the will of the American people, which is kind of the whole point of democracy. No it isnt, what are you talking about? There are plenty of non-Trump GOP candidates but you want him around because of TDS. Hes like crack for you people, you can't quit him. 13 hours ago, Gannan said: I didn’t compare them. Well it was a trick question because only a completely deranged individual would compare the two and wish for Trumps death over political differences. But thus is the nature of TDS, it rots brains

Trump is a horrible leader who actually praised Putins leadership yet some people still defend him. But this is the nature of TDS.

Trump was an effective leader and didnt kill/imprison his political opponents and start random wars. What straw man could you possibly be talking about? Biden is closer to Putin than Trump. Prove me wrong

Ditto for Biden See how that works? I can type nonsense too The funny part is that this all started by Democrats and the media lying about Trump being a Russian asset and people like you falling for it hook, line, and sinker. And you fell so hard that you cant go back now and feel compelled to make idiotic statements like this.

Fact is, just like Amash's tweet said, the left has marginalized their radical faction, but the Republicans have embraced theirs. No matter the motives, that's where the two parties stand at the moment. Of course, the right could correct this, but unfortunately, the populist/nationalist fever in the Republican party has yet to break.

I have taken a huge step back from behind the curtain of politics because of the radicals from the left, right, and middle, but I have high hopes for Amash. I almost wish he would have stuck with the GOP as a moderate and try to bring them back from the edge.

They were marginalized because they had to be, just like the GOP and the right Name the top 5 most popular democrats right now and try not to include a socialist or a progressive. You cant do it

Yeah, Amash is great, though I'm not really sure why his tweet implied that there's something wrong with the Democratic Party sidelining it's progressive/socialists. As a libertarian, he should celebrate that fact.
