He would just be blaming it on the fed, because that's what he does - blame everybody else. This is by the far one of the biggest reason for the current inflation, where the impact of that money flowing through the economy is combined with supply side factors (congested supply chains / Ukraine war / China COVID-free policy etc). Every country did this and central banks around the world overshot their pandemic response.
