Which is worse -- having trouble reading a teleprompter; or falsely claiming an election was "rigged" and inciting your base to interfere with the electoral college certification?

I'll say the latter is way worse.

I love that you all justify everything Biden does by comparing it back to Trump.  I guess the guy will never have to be held accountable for anything.

The president of the united states literally can not even read a teleprompter.

  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

I love how you justify your distaste for Biden by citing the linguistic slips of a guy with a documented speech impediment, rather than attacking his policies.

See how that works?

By the way, we're perfectly happy to debate policy here, but after 4 years of showering fanboi praise on a guy who was objectively the dumbest, most cognitively deficient, and most unscrupulous president in history, yeah, we're gonna give it right back to you guys every single time you try to call the guy stupid or demented.

Woodrow Wilson had better cognition during the final 18 months of his presidency than Trump displayed in his entire four years.

Yes, he literally can. You aren't watching the president, you're watching 10 second snippets from twitter and right wing media. This is level 5 Biden derangement syndrome right here.

We're two months out from a Presidency that was defined by no one in the Republican Party holding the President accountable for a single one of the litany of disasters that went on a daily basis.  The guy was an absolute train wreck from day 1.  And his support never waned in the party.  And you voted for him.  So don't preach to anyone else about holding your own accountable.  It's laughable coming from a Trump supporter.

Oh no, I think many of his policies have been terrible too and I've said so quite clearly.  But the man has far more communications than a few "linguists slips: and you know it.

Biden's always been known for gaffes, and he used to get pretty hammered for it, but Trump lowered the bar deep that it literally doesn't even matter anymore. You're gonna have to find another angle of attack. In fact, you could argue that the only way Biden could've ever overcome those foibles to get elected is to go up against a total buffoon like Trump.

Not really.  Does he forget stuff or misspeak sometimes?  No more than any other person in my opinion.  This is another GOP fairy tale.

Actually, I consume many forms of media and make a point to look a both sides...unlike most people.  What I see is a president who rarely takes questions and can't complete sentences when he does.

president biden has the best words!  :worthy:

You think I'm making some statement about Trump vs. Biden.  I'm not.  I'm simply pointing out the gross inadequacy of our current president's ability to communicate.  And yes, he has always been prone to gaffes.  But what we are seeing now is next level inability to even regurgitate what he is being told to say.  Anyone who doesn't have their head in liberal sand can see it.

And I'm explaining to you that no one cares about verbal missteps anymore because we just spent four years listening to a guy read and speak at an elementary-school level. If you want to understand why, stop looking at it in a vacuum. Trump made it such that it literally doesn't matter anymore.

Show me on the doll where the President's words hurt you.

People who let every Trump gaffe go by suddenly care about language and erudition again.

How cute.

I definitely don't remember the Trump voters having a problem with how poorly he spoke.

I went on record well before the election as saying they are both absolutely terrible speakers and both have tons of "elderly" moments.

trumpers not only didn't gripe about it, they embraced as a sign that he wasn't part of the swamp.

this is why he is the hero of the stupid.

The people who hated everything that came Obama's mouth - one of the most skilled orators we've ever had in the office - and lapped up the stream of consciousness nonsense that poured out of Trump's hamberder hole, suddenly care about public speaking.

Until they start making merchandise of Biden's verbal missteps,  you can miss me with all that complaining.

People easily discount the fact that the president stutters.

From personal experience, it causes delays when you open your mouth and you know it is going to go badly and that makes it worse.

Everybody has slips of the tongue. Not everyone is a moron of Trump's caliber. If Biden gets halfway to Trump, impeach him.

And I am 100% positive Biden will never mock the handicapped, and sure as hell will not do it during a public appearance.

Here he is a few days ago speaking coherently in complete sentences updating the American people on Covid. You are deranged, and mentally disturbed living in an alternate Trumpbot reality. Seek professional help.

It goes both ways to be honest (people who complain about Trump's gaffes are now excusing Biden), and possibly both sides are correct. Both the previous and the current President are not fit for office if you ask me.

We have 4 years of Trump data and 50 days of Biden as president.

Going to watch what happens, myself.

Let's see...he took the oath of office on 1/20...it's 3/10.

Must have been a terrible 1.5 months for you.
