I have a couple of family members that were literally dancing in the streets over this - oddly however, these past four years he has seen major success at a stable job, was able to buy a brand new home - one they had built- while his wife stays home with the kids and were able to start saving and investing for the first time. Under Obama they had to short sell their house and he had to change jobs several times while she had to do some part time jobs in between. I guess if it makes you and your family happier to struggle but at least the guy in the White House isn’t as cringey that’s what matters for them 🤷🏻♀️ Hoping the Republican Party can pull together a respectable ticket in four years. Every economic chart and graph shows that the US economy was steadily increasing since the 2008 recession. So while we can say that the economy didn't go into a great depression under Trump, it was already experiencing a nearly decade-long trend of growth. In a broader sense, we all have our political leanings, and if you like the GOP more, do your thing...but pretending that Trump flipped a switch and turned us all from short selling our houses into success and stability seems disingenuous.

I don't think she could expect to not have any setbacks, but I think progressives still stand to gain some ground over the next few election cycles.

I didn’t claim he flipped any switch - if you choose to believe the economy was thriving despite Trump like I said - we will see at the end of Biden’s term.

Biden is 4 years older, but he isn’t obese, gets exercise and doesn’t eat a steady diet of Big Macs. And if Trump was never deemed mentally unfit, then no one will be. It is truly idiotic. Could he die? Sure, he is old. But I’d bet on him living longer than Captain Big Mac. Settle down, Jugdish. You’ll still get your nuke deal done. Jesus Christ!

Imagine that, a guy can age, and as he does so start to see the other side of some issues. I don’t necessarily disagree and I hope he tries to make it better as POTIS. He still has a bit of a "Reefer Madness” attitude on marijuana. It would have been nice if he had this change of heart before he was running for POTUS for the third time. If I waited as long as he did, I’d still be a young earth creationists in here arguing dinosaurs and man coexisted.
