Colleges shouldn’t be in the loan business. Uh...the colleges aren't making the loans. Almost all student debt comes from the most predatory lender of all -- the Federal Government. Schools reacted to the avalanche of free money by finding ways to maximize enrollment. And by raising prices because of the unlimited demand. But the Feds are the ones giving loans to anyone to study anything.

I have come to learn that couldn't really happen because that interest is needed to fund obamacare. What a mess all around.

September 2, 20232 yr also, we're producing more oil in the US now than we ever did under Trump, even pre-pandemic. this notion that Biden has caused any increase in gas prices is completely baseless. the war in Ukraine and the production cuts by OPEC are the reasons for gas increases, and Biden has no control over their production.

ADP tends to be more reliable IMHO. they're just not the "official" numbers. and even with revisions unemployment has been steady in the 3.5-3.8 range. hell, the stock market went UP because unemployment is starting to tick up. because the tight labor market is causing "too much" wage growth.
