If it was scripted, they would have been asking about the vaccine rollout (widely viewed as successful) and not stupid questions about whether he's going to run in 2024.

The poll said the president saw ratings in the "low 60 percent range” from Democratic respondents "for gun violence and the situation with migrants and unaccompanied children at the border.”

Overall, a majority of respondents, or 57 percent, expressed disapproval of Biden’s performance on gun violence and the border situation. 

The new poll was conducted between March 26-27 with Ipsos’ probability-based KnowledgePanel and is "based on a nationally representative probability sample of 517 general population adults age 18 or older,” the polling firm said.

The poll was conducted in English and Spanish and has been weighted for "gender by age, race/ethnicity, education, Census region, metropolitan status, household income, and party identification,” the firm added.

Even if you only look at the damage Trump did to the nation between Nov 3 2020 and Jan 20 2021, there is literally zero argument that - when comparing Trump to Biden (or a potted plant, which I know some would argue is the same thing) - Trump was the correct choice.

Trump would undo every democratic norm and institution we have if he thought it would benefit him. That's EXACTLY the sort of president we need to be voting out, and the sort of president the Constitution was designed to keep limited until he's either removed by the Senate during an impeachment trial (as he should have been, TWICE) or the public can vote him out.
