My first thought was "Damn, I didn't think of that, but you nailed it". I had to check on the ages to see if it would have matched up. In the film Mathilde was 12yo and Portman was 13 at the time she played the role. If they had done it after the 1st season of Stranger Things then MBB would have been 13 so it would have worked. The posts about her 18th bday sort of remind me about when Anna Kournikova turned 18 and I remember on ESPN (I'm pretty sure 1 of the anchors was Dan Patrick, but can't remember the other) they basically opened that edition of SportsCenter by saying "Today is a national holiday. Today is Anna Kournikova's 18th birthday". It was so obvious what they were doing, stating that it's now legally OK for every guy to openly sexually fantasize about her.
