Wentz has been poor for the past 3 years. He’s a bad QB. A BUST.

Whats up @EagleVA I thought Sanders didnt have a fumbling problem

I think you need to worry about your franchise QB.

I always thought they drafted hurts as insurance in case wentz was either injured or regressed to the point that he has. So with that in mind, why haven’t we made the switch yet and why the f have we drafted hurts in the second round if we aren’t going to ever make the switch?

I think with the shortened off season he probably hasn’t learned the whole playbook yet. Everyone was mad at the Hurts pick but what if Hurts becomes the starter and is a top 10 QB?

Yes! This. He's a bad QB. Whatever the reason for that he's a bad QB. He lacks the fundamentals required to be an NFL QB.

How is it Doug’s fault? He has 100 offensive coordinators and this was the best they could come up with? Those people were forced on him to boot.

Doug thinks he's some offensive mastermind. Very stupid by not getting a legit OC during the off-season. Instead they tried to imitate what SF did and have several offensive assistants. For all those "assistants" they can only come up with about 8 regular plays and 3 gimmick wildcat plays with Hurts.

Wentz has averaged 2 turnovers a game, can't convert 3rd downs, throwing high, not seeing open receivers. Now a safety? What's it going to take besides injury to bench him? Peters should of never been brought back. I've screamed that the past 2 years.

I never blamed everything on Wentz either, but you’re acting like this stuff is new. Wentz has been throwing off his back foot and off centered for years. His mechanics have always been trash. He’s just not getting away with it anymore. He’s always had fumble issues. He’s always taken chances with the football. He just got away with most of that stuff in the past, but it also cost him injuries in the past too.

I've actually agreed with you about the throwing off the back foot for years issue. I also never said you blame everything on Wentz. I said you blame things that aren't the QBs fault on the qb and you've been doing it since mcnabb was the qb. I don't think you know what you are actually watching and I don't really care what you regarding on field issues.

Reagor needs the ball more and we need some legit weapons.

Fulgham came back to earth. Ward blows. Jeffery blows. Hightower is pretty bad.

Take Chase with our top pick and grab an actual slot receiver later.

Wentz still sucks, but damn these WRs are horrid too.

Fulgham doesn’t blow. They just ruined his development by letting Alshon play. HE blows. I like Reagor, Fulgham and Hightower. They need another piece there.

Doug and Carson can both go. Why are they throwing screens to Ward? Wouldn’t you think it would make more sense to throw them to Reagor?

A freaking men. Said it at least twice out loud today.

There will be changes coming, Lurie is not a stupid man, he is seeing what we’re seeing, he will just wait until after the season. If I’m Howie I’m hiding in the basement, lol

Or behind a dog mask?

Will he ever get the chance? We keep trotting wentz out there and it’s clear as day now that he isn’t going to get out of this slump as this slump Is who he is as a qb. If hurts does start and eventually become a top tier qb then of course it was a fantastic pick. But why make that pick if you won’t give him the opportunity?

The commentators said something very interesting. That the Eagles have slowed down on inserting new Hurts package plays because they’ve been getting him up to speed on the rest of the playbook instead.  Hopefully that means they are expediting the process of having him take over.

So contract wise when can we get rid of Wentz provided we do not find a trade partner for him. Has been his backer but I'm officially done with him.

https://overthecap.com/player/carson-wentz/4715/

They could potentially designate him a post-June 1st cut in 2022 and save $22 million dollars. I don't think they are going to cut him but who knows? He has majorly regressed.

I say if it was a normal off season we would have already seen him.

See you guys next week to watch another familiar loss to the Seahawks. DK will go for over 200yds and 3tds

If you remember they tried to get an OC, but everyone turned them down. Then they went with this community coordinators crap. I don’t blame the OCs from staying clear of this mess. They wanted no part of being fired for not calling plays.

That’s not excuse. It’s reality. It’s horrible play calling. Horrible play design. Give him better plays and he’ll make the throws.

Stupid stupid stupit

Wentz has been holding the ball like a champ and continues to make rookie mistakes. I disagree.

Wentz was having a mvp season our SB run year. He was phenomenal in that offense. Now, what we see is dougs offense this year and last, and Wentz’s numbers has gone way down, even though we throw it more, how is that?  Yes he’s making mistakes I understand that, holding the ball too long to give up a safety today is one of em, but you gotta look at the play call..why is he throwing in there?, where’s the running backs to give him some room first...they (coaches) knew it was gonna be heavy rain today..where was the game plan for that?
I blame Doug for this crappy offense that’s clearly predictable. And I blame wentz for the stupid mistakes he makes on the field...

but it’s time to hand over play calling to an actual offensive coordinator.

Wentz will throw for under 250 and have more turnovers than TDs. Can't wait. See you next week.

😁

Doug needs his big balls back, and to let Hurts start next week. It’s a weak Seahawks D but Carson won’t be able to exploit it.

Wentz couldn't exploit an historically bad Dallas D. I mean let's be honest the Giants and Browns aren't exactly great defenses yet he manages to make them look the the '85 Bears.

So what is Doug going to say in the post game presser?

Top 10? For a HC and GM boasting about a QB factory he better be more than a top 10. In this league it's really not much difference between a #10 and #20

Wentz leaves a lot of plays on the field for someone who's supposed to be a franchise QB. His turnovers are inexcusable.

There's really no sense trying to defend anybody this week. I just keep hoping for a good game to take place. I keep being disappointed.

You haven't gotten a good 4 quarters in the same game from this team in quite some time. I'd stop hoping for that this year.

Doug will never beat Seattle and neither will Carson.
