Jalen Hurts - shoulder sprain injury; expected for playoffs

The tied the game with over 6 minutes left.  The reasonable expectation is that your defense, especially at home with over 6 minutes left is going to be able to get the ball back to your offense before the end of the game.  But you're going full clown.  This why I have no respect for you whatsoever.  Not only a terrible person morally as seen by your disgusting attempt to smear all of the Watson victims but just flat out a terrible person to try to discuss football with.

Why are you so focused on that game, lets talk about his last start, defense held opponent to 13 points, and all he could muster was 7 against the crappy @ss G-Men.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

So focused on the Chargers game?  You're the one that brought it up.  You're desperately spinning your tires trying to shoot off in every direction.

If he didn't block me I'd join, but I'll just grab my popcorn instead.

I see the value in Hurts for sure.

What value does Hurts have?

One day these offense crazed fans are gonna realize that it's defense that matters, just ask the Ravens, they've never had an offense worth a damn but they have two SB championships with Trent Dilfer and Joe Flacco at QB.

If anyone want to research the list goes on, most SB winning teams had great defenses, all world Tom Brady won most of his SBs behind great defenses.

Now watch, dumbarse will bypass defensive players until rounds 4-7.

They've had a decent defense in the Lamar Jackson era and still haven't won a SB

Their defense was able to keep the opponents under 20 but Ravens were only able to score 3 points in last years divisional round

He is a young developing dynamic QB who drastically improved the offense from what we saw last year.  It also appears that he might have that essential clutch gene with how he has played down the stretch in games.  Excited to see him return and hopefully get to see how he plays in his first playoff game.

He's been blocked since deep in the offseason.  There is no value whatsoever to his posts.  He's never had an original opinion in his life, he just tries to parrot what current opinion in the echo chamber is in a desperate attempt to be liked by others.

What makes a qb dynamic?  Running ability?

Absolutely.  The ability to both pass the ball and evade pressure within the pocket and run if need be.  That's why the league has placed a premium on athletic QBs.

But he doesn’t have the ability to pass.  He’s all running.

He does though.  He has made strides to improve as a passer this year and he is only going to get better the more he develops.  He is still younger now than Carson Wentz was when he played his first game as a pro for example.

Careful, don't want to cater to the echo chamber.

Probably the dumbest take I've seen today, but considering the source I'm not surprised.

"Mommy, someone on the internet made me look stupid so I'm going to block him!"

What a clown. 😂

His completion % took a big jump this year from 52.0% to 60.1%.  His interception % went down, his sack % went down, his QB rating went up, his QBR went up.  He has made undeniable strides and it will be exciting him continue to improve over the years.

We showed that his passing yards/output and rating are trending down…

His YPA is only down from 7.2 last year to 6.9.  His QB rating is up to 83.9 this year compared to 77.6 as a rookie.

Where did I mention a decent defense?

Oh, that's right, I didn't, so what's your point??

QB hasn't won a Super Bowl in his first 3 seasons.  Obviously a bust.

83.9 qb rating in 2021.  When was the last time someone had a qb rating like that and kept their job?  I don’t know the answer; but it would probably take some digging.

Lamar Jackson is currently 86.8. Josh Allen (2018, 2019).

huh?

I guess we can go down the list of just currently active QBs.

Matthew Stafford: 2009 (61.0), 2012 (79.8), 2013  (84.2) & 2014 (85.7)

Tom Brady: 2002 (85.7), 2003 (85.9) & 2001 (86.5).

Dak Prescott: 2017 (86.6)

Josh Allen: 2018 (67.9) & 2019 (85.3).

Derek Carr: 2014 (76.6) & 2017 (86.4)

Carson Wentz: 2020 (72.8) & 2016 (79.3)

Big Ben: 2019 (66.0), 2006 (75.4) & 2008 (80.1).

Baker Mayfield: 2019 (78.8)

Matt Ryan: 2009 (80.9)

Jared Goff: 2016 (63.6) & 2019 (86.5)

Lamar Jackson: 2018 (84.5) & 2021 (86.8)

Ryan Tannehill: 2012 (76.1), 2013 (81.7) & 2021 (84.7)

There are more than as well including most all of the rookie QBs who besides Mac Jones have lower QB ratings than Hurts like Trevor Lawrence and they will be back as starters next year and likely for at least one more year after that as well.

Lots of success there.
