More likely they will all just act like they knew he wasn't the guy all along. Much like when Siri actually tried to win with him passing at the beginning of the season.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

I'm not going to continue talking in circles with you. You think Hurts is a stud, I don't.

We'll see where it goes from here.

Way to misrepresent my position.

I don't think Hurts is a stud. But I do think he is a better option right now than the alternatives, and could evolve into a qb who could allow us to compete for a championship.

If he doesn't, what's the big loss? So he didn't work out. Neither did 25 other qbs drafted in the last five years. So he becomes the next Marcus Mariota or Mitch Trubisky.

If he does work out, then you have your guy. It's what's called a risk-reward situation.

Benching Jalen Hurts right now would be like throwing away a lottery ticket where you have hit the first three numbers, simply because the odds are you won't win. We have an offense that functions with him at QB. We went from bottom of the league to the upper half, even with a rookie coaching staff and one of the youngest offenses in the league. The team is exceeding expectations. Everyone should be happy.

Instead, we have pages of posts by people crapping all over Hurts, and the only reason they are doing it is because they don't want to be wrong about something.

Which is ironic, since most of them are also Howie Haters. So either Howie has built a great offense and Hurts is holding it back, or he was right about Hurts. Either way, they have to admit that they were wrong about Howie. So I can understand why a lot of them are really grumpy all the time.

I don't want Hurts benched, I just don't think he's the answer. Minshew isn't either. That's the last bit I'll say on it.

Short, weak arm, inaccurate, can't go through progressions.

I'd say we've already missed on the first 4 numbers.

Hurts is a $2 scratch off ticket

That's where I am. Let hurts finish the season so he gets the full season so people can see what he isn't so we can be done with this nonsense

Hurts is a scratch off you picked up off the street, can see it's a dud, but you ask the person at 711 to scan it anyway to see if its a winner.

Hurts 20 of 26 for 296 yards and 3 total TDs. 4 of his 6 incompletions were drops. All in the rain.

If it was Minshew instead of Hurts, more than half this board would be demanding he starts for the rest of the year and possibly next year as well.

As it is people will nitpick his 2/3 bad plays and proclaim that he is definitely not the guy.

We need to see more of Hurts for sure.

Shaky start, but overall played well.

Hurts looked great tonight. Team was struggling early and he really took it over. One thing I’ve noticed is his short passing game is excellent. Super accurate and almost always puts the ball in a good spot for the receiver to run after catch

Hurts had a good game. Cue the haters and huggers to argue non stop till the next game about the same sheet

Hurts had 3 bad plays, but apart from that was great.

Think he actually did learn from Minshew. Went through his reads and found the open guy.

Deep ball needs work and WFT were beat up, but I hope more people can see the potential he has. If he can throw accurately and make good decisions as he did today and you combine that with his running ability then he has a shot to be the guy here.

Started off weak, got bailed out a few below average passes, but as the game progressed, so did he. Even if you aren't a fan, and get today was a great practice game...give credit and move on

He played well.  It won’t mean anything if he doesn’t rebound and play better against the Giants.

Frankly this is what people have been saying for a while now. No need to be all in on Hurts but there is also no reason to trash him either. He’s a young quarterback and he will have ups and downs. Bottom line is despite your feelings he’s the Eagles quarterback. Get over it.

Looks about right......that's exactly how I picture TheClownDownUnder.

Fantastic Performance overall.  Yes the fumble wasn't good but he didn't let bring him down.   He stayed the pocket, delivered several strong passes.  He got it done on the ground.   Also made Eagles History.   After taking 3 weeks off and people dissecting his last performance.  Also some even calling for him to be replaced.   He gets his first NFC EAST Win and helped to give the Fans a big Performance before Christmas.   Now the Eagles continue to roar towards the playoffs.   Jalen time to get revenge on those G-Men.    Yes Washington had issues but he did what he needed to do this game.   Let's get this playoff berth.

Hurts also did a nice job of spreading the ball around tonight.

Right now I’m fine with the Eagles quarterback situation. If they feel the need to draft a guy to groom then I’m fine with that too, but as of right now they have two quarterbacks capable of winning in the NFL, and Minshew is one of the better backups in the league and both of them are still on affordable contracts. Personally I’d rather the Eagles use their draft picks on defense especially for the 2022 season and go out and get a receiver via free agency. Put the money and the capital in the roster and not the quarterback.

Not at all.  Eagles won and he played well.  It was a bad team missing players.  He needs to rebound and do it against the Giants in 4 days or it means nothing.
