i want to see his command of the offense , reading the defense , don't get skiddish in the pocket ,go thru his reads , get rid of the ball , no turnovers and see what his deep ball looks like with 1st team reps..same i would want to see carson do

Other teams have done the same, why was it not an issue for you previously ??

Malcom Jenkins knows our offense and it’s tendencies. At best what other teams was doing was guess work. The bigger question is if your Ginger Jesus was so good why would he keep running a play that the defense has sniffed out? I mean how many times do we hear him yell "kill kill” but he’s not smart enough to audible out of it?

I'd like Hurts to look great while we lose out and end up with a top 5 pick.

BUT.....do we trust Howie with a top 5 draft pick?

Doubtful. Barring injury, I think Wentz has taken his last snap this season.

You think? I'm not so sure.

I don’t see them making the move this late unless they just want Hurts to finish. The only other exception is he is beyond wretched. I mean worse than Wentz wretched.

I dont want to become the Cleveland Browns and not make the playoffs for like 30 years because we keep hoping our top 5 pick makes the team better, meanwhile we've allowed a culture of loosing to infect the entire organization.

When you deliberately lose games, you ruin the team from the top down. You have to always want to win. Picking higher won't save you. Fixing the team is going to take a lot more than 1 player.

Hurts is not going to win this game himself..

That's exactly what was expected out of Wentz though.

The way Hurts played tonight, picking up the entire team...he is the starter.

You are probably right but with this team and with this coaching staff I can never be sure or confident.

Well that clearly wasn’t the case. There’s no way they go back to Wentz after this. If Hurts continues to look good and even shows progress over the next three games, then at a minimum you need to have a fair, open competition for the starting job next camp. Personally I’m out on Wentz either way, so if it were up to me they’d find a way to ship him off to Indy in the offseason.

I definitely agree for this season. Hurts would have to be Denver with no QB bad. I don’t see any way Doug did this just for this week.

That's exactly what an "MVP" would do.

Who said he's an MVP? Did I miss an award ceremony?

"MVP-caliber" - that's the assessment of Wentz by the fanboys.

Eh. I'm a "Wentz fanboy" and don't think he is MVP caliber. I do think he is better than this years performance.

Light it up.  We can't draft to save our lives anyway so I don't see a high draft pick making much difference.

Yea, he can't be this bad.  It would be nice to get some decent performance out of him even if only just to shop him for a potential trade.
