Dewalt used to be really good quality but my understanding is the quality dropped after it was acquired by Black and Decker. edit: I still have a Dewalt radial arm saw that is older than my kid that starts college next year and it still works great.

January 3, 20242 yr Milwaukee and Ryobi are owned by the same company. Dewalt has gone way downhill. Rigid is owned by Emerson electric now.... so its only a matter of time before they follow Dewalt. Makita aint bad. As of 2023......
