If you return it to the cart spots in the parking lot, then the guy still has his job as he returns them from the corrals to the front of the store.

Unless schmoopie is in a rush or we are in the very back of the parking lot, I almost always return it to the store. And pre Covid I try to grab one before I enter the store. Why? Because from 16 to 18 my ass was the one collecting carts, many times in freezing cold or pouring rain. Want to make those kids lives a cart or two easier.

Pre Covid though I would usually just grab a cart from the corral on the way in. Figured it saved the kid a trip. Honestly, most of the kids who do it here look like they prefer working out there .... Pretty sure they're hitting the bong in between trips.

When I worked at a grocery store back in 1993, I enjoyed getting carts provided it wasn't raining, and I had my walkman. Yes, my walkman. Quit laughing, yes, I had a walkman.

I had some off brand "portable" cd player my parents got me for Xmas. If I tilted it the wrong way it would skip. But 2 legit 2 quit sounded pretty sweet, as long as I didn't move too much.
December 15, 20205 yr Usually what I do is push the cart in from like twenty feet out and act like I’m Tiger making the winning putt at the masters when it goes in.
