I inherited by brother's walkman, and then got a discman as a gift, but for me, the mind-blowing experience was getting my first TDK mp3-cd player. I can pack 200 songs on one disc? WHAT?!?!

I used to be pretty good at "throwing" carts across the parking lot into the line of carts in the corral. I rather enjoyed collecting carts.

And pre Covid I try to grab one before I enter the store. Why? Because from 16 to 18 my ass was the one collecting carts, many times in freezing cold or pouring rain. Want to make those kids lives a cart or two easier. I do too like 9 out of 10. But dont feel bad one bit when i dont. And it’s certainly no way to judge someones character as the meme is trying to say

Cart coral is more than acceptable, it's the a-holes that just push it into the grass or push it into an empty parking spot where it rolls away and hits a car then that person wants us to pay for it. There is some truth to the shopping cart theory and the type of people they are. We know exactly who the people are that don't bring their carts back or the ones that bring them back. Then again you have the ones who bring it back to the store and just push it in the entrance door lol. Those are the ones that think they are helping but, are still to ignorant to put it back properly and did their good deed for the day.

Teaching lessons and all that stuff.

You know when you get those little half carts because you have to pick up one or two more things than you can carry in your arms? And you know how when you leave the store, you grab the bags out of the cart, push it back in the row before you leave? I've TWICE in one week saw someone take the cart to the sliding door area, grab his bags, AND LEAVE THE CART IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ENTRANCE NO MORE THAN 10 FEET FROM THE CART ROW. When I take over the planet, these people will be immediately executed, no trial.

Everyone wants to use them so we never have enough people will literally block traffic at the entrance to wait for an employee to come out and go get them one of those carts. I'm not even joking. People also steal those damn carts. There was a guy who had 22 of those half carts in his effing apartment! Those carts are the devil!
December 15, 20205 yr I do my normal shopping with those half carts. The big carts make me feel like I’m pushing a tank through the store. I love those half carts.

I like them when I can get away with them. but at least a third of the time I grab a small cart I end up with too much stuff because I'll think of a dozen things I want to grab while I'm in the store that I hadn't planned on. my normal shopping fills a regular size cart. unrelated, anybody want to buy a kid?

I have a habit of getting stuff not on the list also lol. Also, I don’t know if you mean a baby goat or a small human, but no to both. 😂

Depends on the store and how big the chain is. I work for a smaller chain we simply do not have the man hours to waste on wiping carts down all day. We have plenty of sanitizer wipes and hand sanitizer ready for you when you get your cart. Walmart and costco have people with sprayers. They seem to be pretty consistent. 5 hours ago, EagleJoe8 said: I do my normal shopping with those half carts. The big carts make me feel like I’m pushing a tank through the store.
