Unfortunately he’ll get is $$$ and the ladies will still not be lining up , as they will get the same amount.  So why bother .  Maybe he’ll be able to afford a belly cover.

That's why they can afford to pay their employees so well. They just have like 5 people run the whole store lol.

Exactly!! And then people give me sheet and wonder why our prices are higher... Um cause they basically have no labor for one.

I knew a manager there. Mon-Thu...3 people at a time.

I was actually going to say 3 but wasn't sure and thought I was over exaggerating. They have a pretty high turnover rate. You get run into the ground pretty quickly literally being short staffed every single day

Every grocery store I've been to in Europe is the exact same way.

Don't they also get a sheet ton of time off over there and things are still closed on weekends and definitely Sunday?

Not sure about Germany right now. I know Poland the stores are forced to be closed on sundays by the government unless the owner works. Most EU countries give a sheet ton of time off.

I want to like Aldi but the food tastes like trash. It’s like the guy who invented Aldi was a kid in Berlin in late 1945 and thought all food tasted like the trash he was eating, and decided to open a chain of grocers where they had great quality food like that, only it was trash. It’s like he found three months later a moldy Hershey bar that a gunner threw out the side of a Flying Fortress, and he was like yeah this is the stuff. I want this quality in my stores.

Honestly I just go to Costco. Same idea just much better quality. Plus it’s an American company, so you know at worst his basis of comparison was rationing during the war. Like he wanted some exquisite cheese but it was a Monday and you can only have cheese on days with a T in them and he’s like "sob never again”.

Yea I know it was way lighter but no idea about now. My wife’s from Poland and everyone works either as much or more than any American I know.
