I believe it was created in the 1800s to give more daylight to railroad workers

It was created to save energy and get more use of the daylight. It wasn't any job in particular they say it benifits the economy because people tend to spend more time out shopping and doing things when it's daylight longer.

No cared about saving energy in the 1800s

I don’t think anyone cared about "boosting the economy” back then either, particularly not by spending more time out shopping

I thought it was created more for the farmers.  Either way i think people have the ability to adjust for time and do not need time adjusted for them

Well that was the reason given on multiple sites go talk to google about it then. I said and get more use out of the daylight.

It wasn't even used in the 1800's morons.

Why do we change our clocks? Daylight saving time was instituted in the U.S. during World War I in order to save energy for war production by taking advantage of the later hours of daylight between April and October.2

it has evolved over the years and it's benifits have changed over the years. Of course it's not the same as a 100 years ago you dopes

Why wouldn't they care about boosting the economy? I mean they still had a stock market and sheet.

There are several different stories as to why they started it. We weren't even the first to implement it. It started in Germany then the US made it permanent in 1918.

Clearly it was created by the government to perpetuate the lie that the Earth is a spinning ball
