I would go Costa Rica Barbados Aruba Dominican Republic Bahamas Canada (I did like hunting though) Jamaica Mexico I'm probably forgetting about someplace Jamaica is the only Caribbean island I've been to, but we loved it. We stayed in a resort that had a beachfront hotel and villas tucked up in the wooded mountain. Throughout enjoyed having the shade and trees around our villa while also having direct access to the beach as well since I'm not a huge beach person. It was a great compromise for the wife and I since she loves the beach. Like I said, I have no point of comparison though so it is possible that I'd like other destinations more if I went to one. With young kids, I don't see that happening any time soon though.
