I don't think my post implied anything about southerners being dumb. just that they don't want to be "northern liberal sissies"

But ok.

OK, but we all realize that they are dumb, right?

"We can use a roundabout" isn't the flex that Kentucky wants it to be.

somebody's all triggered over a roundabout video.

most people in the US seem to have no idea how to deal with a roundabout.

I've almost gotten into accidents more frequently on the roundabout in Flemington NJ than anywhere else because so many US drivers have no idea about right-of-way rules for them.

SPOILER ALERT: the overwhelming majority of people are dumb. South, north, east, west -- morons are on the rise everywhere.

Somebody posted fake news, and others ate it up and ran with a false narrative.

Don't feel bad, Newsweek and the Daily Mail also used the reddit video and ran with it as news without doing research.

this was more or less going to be my argument. I used to be more optimistic about my fellow man, but the older I get the stupider I realize the average person is.

southern people aren't, as a rule, more or less stupid than others. most people are just stupid.

Here are some comments on the video from people in PA:  ha ha, those dumb PA people can't figure out how to use roundabouts.

Most folks do not have any idea how to drive in these circles. They do not adhere to any instructions in this video. I know because I live and drive thru the circles shown in Linglestown, Pa. many times a week, and when I can, I will avoid these nightmares!

I love getting in these and drifting around and around and around.  So much fun watching people trying to figure out when and where I'll exit.

TBF, the people from Linglestown, PA might as well be from Alabama. Not much difference there.

Fake news actually.  But yeah those dumb southerners right?

"A video shared by Walker Construction on Facebook was intended to be an example of how not to drive through the new roundabout. But the video instead went viral on the internet as users believed it was drivers who actually didn’t know how to drive through a roundabout.

Drivers are seen in the video turning left into the roundabout, taking the wrong lanes and backing up traffic for people who were driving through the roundabout correctly. Walker Construction has made multiple Facebook posts since the video went viral in an effort to clarify that the wrong-way driving was done intentionally to educate people on the incorrect way to handle the turns."

My faith in humanity has been restored.

This video seems like the worst way to "educate people". Maybe also show cars doing it correctly and very clearly emphasize which is correct and which is not.

The company did that after realizing the video went viral and people thought drivers were actually doing that.  One article said if you look close there are people with flags directing the drivers which way to go, incorrectly on purpose for their "what not to do" video.  They since posted videos of the correct way.
