When we had our current house built, we had separate Vanities and walk in closets in the master. Single Walk in shower/ sep tub,  with head behind closed door. Also added a second complete Master on the ground floor for guests/ future in law quarters, that I use the shower in often. 

Our new home has his and hers walk in closest.  I'm loving it.  Clean and I can find stuff

I have only one walk in closet in my room but it is huge, its actually bigger than the smallest bedroom was in our old home. It already had really nice shelving and cabinetry installed. Neither my wife or I have a ton of clothes so we store other household items (mostly as much toilet paper as we could fit and a few dozen cases of N95 masks) in it along with our stuff.

 

My son's room has a small walk in, and he made it it an office and has it hooked up really nice as a spot for him to work on his hobbies and play computer games. The little bit of clothing he needs to hang up is in our closet lol.
