I’ve heard spiders from someone close to me, but the man with a hat as a common entity really blows my mind since it’s so specific. I know the mind "shortcuts” to make sense of things, thus all the illusion graphics out there. But sleep paralysis resulting with the man with the hat is a whole other phenomenon.
