The worst part of sleep paralysis for me that I would never want to experience it again would be the part where I would end up feeling surrounded by evil... It felt like I was being watched by everyone in the world and they were all evil and wanted bad things for me... Then standing behind me looking down at me was one overwhelming presence of evil like they were the worst of the worst... Basically it was like Satan... That part of sleep paralysis always terrified me and made me dread having it happen

I never had anything so specific, but the first couple of times I had it was just an overwhelming feeling of dread. It was like fear mixed with an anticipation that whatever I was fearful of (I couldn’t exactly tell you) would actually happen, almost like it was a foregone conclusion it was going to happen.

I'll never forget that feeling... It was like you could actually feel the evil... It's been well over 20 years now since I had it happen... Not all of sleep paralysis was bad some of it was actually kind of fun... It's been so long since it happened I don't really remember the order in which some of the stages or events happened but I do remember feeling like my whole body was pushed down into my bed that it felt like I popped out of my body through my back and I was floating a few inches off the ground...

The very first time it ever happened to me (I was probably 16 or 17 years old, around 1998 or 99) before I knew it was sleep paralysis (when I thought I was abducted by aliens LOL) I NEVER sleep on my back ever... I can't it's not comfortable and I can't fall asleep on my back... I remember just waking up out of nowhere it was the oddest feeling and being fully conscious and aware... I realized I was on my back and found that strange too... It was like you knew something was wrong but had no idea what it was... I went to move and then realized that I couldn't move at all... Like I had this weight on my chest that was immovable but I couldn't physically feel it... My heart started racing so fast... Then I felt like there was a presence around me... I was way too afraid to open my eyes... I thought I was laying on my back in a ufo about to be examined by aliens LOL...

If this never actually happened to me and someone told me a story like this I would absolutely never believe them... I would assume they had a bad dream

Yeah, once I figured out it was sleep paralysis I’ve actually been fine. I’ll panic for about 5 seconds because of how disoriented you are but then my mind usually processes what is happening and I’m cool. Get it maybe once or twice a year. Funny enough I ALWAYS open my eyes. When it happened the first couple times I’d open them because of that dread to see WTF was going on. Then you try to move, and can’t, and that fear cranks up to another level.

I can 100% understand how people could think it was ghosts or monsters or aliens or whatever. It’s just such a powerful, terrifying experience, and if you’re seeing actual figures you’d 100% believe it’s real because you ARE awake.

Yeah it's wild... I had no more than maybe 10 total sleep paralysis episodes and it's been so long that I don't remember everything or what happened during which specific episodes... The first time I remember the most...

After the 4th or 5th time I finally decided to open my eyes because I had always woke up in my bed so I figured I was safe... I saw a shadowy figure standing over me but it looked more like ears than a hat to me... Closed my eyes immediately I was like f that nope... The other time I opened my eyes it looked like an old man was sitting with a little girl on my dresser and he was cutting up an apple and giving it to her and it wasn't a bad hallucination...

I haven't had a full on episode since my teens and all of them happened within a few months of each other...

I sleep on my side when I go bed and I think what more than likely triggered my experiences was after I fell asleep I more than likely rolled onto my back... Anytime I had it I always woke up on my back... Now that im almost 40 and have a belly on me it acts as a counter weight so I don't roll on my back during sleep one of the few benefits to being out of shape lol... At least thats what I'm going with

There is a documentary on Netflix and sleep paralysis called the nightmare... I think some of the stories are bs but I think most of them people have experienced...

My doctor said it’s probably caused by breathing being impaired while sleeping. I don’t have sleep apnea, but I do have a big neck (long and size 17.5), so like you said if I roll over on my back while sleeping in a weird position it can cause problems with my breathing which in turn probably triggers the sleep paralysis.

Anyone see this guy before. Crazy what he does

This is basically what I saw minus the red eyes.....

Annndddddd, they reduced the stadium capacity again and they STILL can't fill it with their own fans.  Since 1999 they dropped the # seats by roughly 30k, give or take.

I went to the Wake Forest game against Clemson on Saturday. You can see how much orange there is in this pic I took at kickoff.  It happens.  Lol

I have to yeah but....

Yeah but... all we heard for YEARS was how Washington had this historic sell out streak and yada yada yada.  They built an ugly ass stadium in the middle of nowhere with the sole purpose of squeezing as many people as they could. 80,116.  Then when Snyder took over the team it went through a period of aggressive expansion peaking in 2004 at 91,665  (they did add a few more crap seats in 2009, but it was 200ish so who f'n cares).  However, as Snyder continued to dismantle that fanbase, they started to rip out for "party decks" and "better fan experience" while trying to keep claiming a 50 year wait list and no stop sell outs, fooling only people who are blind or drinking the kewl aids.  Now no one shows up to the games and its either empty or a sea of jerseys from the other team.

I f'n LOVE it.
