I don’t ever want to see Pryor on the team again and he can take Jacquet with him.

They could be a really nice WalMart greeter/cart guy combo.

Last week people were saying Jacquet  should have been starting over Maddox. 😂

Get ready for Wentz vs Hurts mania this week on these boards

The sad thing is because winning would be bad, we will.

Unfortunately I think that might happen too, but either way Howie will screw it up regardless.

F it. Start Sudfeld. We need to lose next week. Or start Ward at QB.

The soap opera that is the Philadelphia Eagles continues

I don’t see why. Wentz played like ish for 13 games. Hurts for 1. Hurts has the higher ceiling right now today. He starts next week. In TC it’s a competition. Pretty simple.

Time for Jacquet to go back to selling tires.

Bad game for sure, but an inexperienced player like him  can learn from this and get better. The dude came into this game off a pretty darn good game. There's no financial committment or draft pick investment to worry about --- we can afford to groom him over a period of time.

Hurts and Carson fumble a lot more than the average quarterback. Yeah they get hit a lot, but that doesn’t mean they need to fumble this much. On top of that Hurts is also fumbling when he’s carrying the football as a runner so it isn’t just blindside sacks. In 2012 Aaron Rodgers was sacked 51 times and only fumbled 5 times. There’s no excuse for all these fumbles.

You are right with no excuse with the fumbles and it is mostly on the players no argument there. However, there is a little bit of coaching involved there when these guys are not being held accountable for these damn turnovers. What do Wentz and hurts both do? They play reckless and dont just let a play die to get to the next play.

Yes Hurts does do a good job of throwing the ball away but, when he decides he wants to run what does he do? He tries to fight for every inch that isn't even there and refusing to go down. Giving defenders opportunities to pull at the ball and strip it.

This is a coaching issue, if the coaches are not getting after these guys to just give up the damn play and move on to the next play. You can see it in both hurts and Wentz. Both won't go down both are reckless when running. Coaches need to hold them accountable for that sheet.

Sure, you want him as a camp body, that’s fine. He’s not a starter in this league, though. He got exposed for what he is, an undrafted free agent.

That last Hurts fumble wasn’t him trying to fight for anything. He was being tackled and fumbled. There’s undisciplined play all around thought. You see a lack of technique on offense and defense. You see really bad penalties. Overall though I think you see a lack of talent. I don’t think there’s much of anyone Stoutland can do to make Matt Pryor a better tackle. He just is not a good football player.

Yeah... that series of events happened what once? They started off the game like gang busters on the ground and were Embiid dominant. Then they decide to get cute and go away from what worked so well.

No matter how you slice it Hurts has to prove he can win from the pocket. He’s gotta throw the ball. There was a lot of times in this game where Sanders went out when he got banged up too.

They're still in it. They win and Washington loses and they're in the dance as NFC Champs.

My god what a freaking nightmare that is.

You're right. He's not a starter. But as a backup, injuries forced him to start. He has shown some flashes. He has nice size and speed. He has very little experience as a CB in his football career. This is a guy that can be groomed to be a future starter. You don't throw him away after a tough week.

He has thrown well from the pocket. But when you are killing someone on the ground you go to that well over and over until they stop you. That's what Belicheat would do. He would pick at that until the defense adjusts.

You mean the fumble that wasn't really a fumble cause his knee was blatantly down but we were in Dallas so...

If he holds onto the ball it’s not even a question. The ball was moving before his knee was down.

No it wasn't. His right knee was down ... was moving when the left knee hit. But... Dallas.

How about that DeSean Jackson?  I guess he doesn't get hurt every time he touches the ball, huh?

He didn’t get tackled.  Worked out so well for us. So proud he’s on the team.

I’d love to see how Belicheat would work with this group of players. My guess he’d be out of the playoffs just like he is right now. The botttomline is the kid has to throw the ball. That’s the NFL and the Eagles don’t have a back like the kid with the Titans. Their guy gets knocked all the time. You can’t give him the ball 40 times a game.

Yeah it was, and that why it was a fumble. Again HOLD ONTO THE DARN BALL AND IT IS NOT AN ISSUE.

Who said 40 times a game. How about 20+ in a game that is pretty much do or die playoffs after being preserved all year.

Look at it this way. Dallas wins, gets curb stomped in round one then as a reward gets to draft 19 and play a first place schedule.

In a way we knew weren’t going anywhere this season so it doesn’t hurt as bad. But it does because it’s against Dallas.

We'll agree to disagree. I've watched it several times. Announcers and everyone else that saw it said the same thing. Some Dallas cooking on that one. You're right though needs to protect the ball better none the less.
