I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

BS. I've had to put people on ignore because of the constant name calling on Wentz

Maybe Philly fans are running Wentz out of town.

Veiwer Discretion advised....

He’s a f’in bears fan. Maybe some bears fans aren’t welcoming Carson to town. Shows that any idiot can post their worthless opinion on Twitter.

I am getting more and more intrigued by the idea of Pitts. Haven't had just a physically overpowering and dominating WR with size like that since TO.   As good as Chase and Smith might be they certainly don't have that type of size.

Is that really the same thing as directly tweeting stuff at Wentz? Give me a break.

Or anyone for that matter

Have a feeling this will drag into March. There’s really no incentive at this point for anyone to cave now given that they have another Month to work this out.

I'm glad to see that others are starting to get on board with Kyle Pitts.  He really can be a matchup nightmare in the NFL.  His wingspan, hands catching and overall smoothness just make his game fun to watch and would love to see him on the Eagles.

Trevor Lawrence, Ja'Maar Chase, Kyle Pitts.  Those are the top 3 pro days that people should be tuned in to.  Trevor had his.

Has anyone heard from or have there been any clips on Chase since last year?  He isn't active on twitter (rare these days and I like that) so we don't have any updates of what kind of shape he's in or anything.  Did he put on more muscle?  Has he had a speed coach all these months?  What's he been doing to prep for the NFL?

For Kyle Pitts, I want to see the 40 time and what he's deciding to do with his frame.  At 20 years old, 6-6 240 lbs, he has 2 choices.   Bulk up to try to be an every down tight end or hover around 240, maybe drop to 235 and be that big NFL WR.  He didn't play in FLA's bowl game so he's had 3-4 months to decide which direction to go.

Depends in part how the landscape plays out with Deshaun Watson; it’s now being reported Watson has no interest in the Jets.  His no-trade clause makes his situation unique — if he hasn’t given the Texans a list of teams he’ll agree to, then nothing can happen.  Most reports indicate the Texans have no intention of trading him (I would have gotten a list from Watson’s agent long ago if I was McNair and shipped him to the highest bidder).

If it becomes clear over the next couple of weeks that Watson isn’t moving, then that — along with no Scouting Combine at the end of February — will likely get another couple of teams checking on Wentz’s price.

Saw an article on TV that insinuated the Covid vaccine is only good for 90 days.

Did anyone else see this?

That is only if you don;t get the second shot. The date range keeps changing but the recommended date was within 90 days to get the second shot to lock it in. Most companies now when you sign up for the first shot, you are required to sch the second shot. Basically the first shot is worthless if you dont get the Booster shot after.

I agree but at the same time these athletes, celebrities, etc probably shouldn't be on twitter, FB, Instagram if they cant handle it.

I suspect he will stay where he’s at physically and let NFL evaluators decide how they want to use him.  In the end it’s a draft and he has no say over which team will select him.
If he does get drafted in the top 10, or even top 15 overall, he will become the focal point of that team’s offense in order for the pick to have value.

If the Eagles draft him the expectation would be that he’ll be a 75 catch/1,100 yard player — perhaps not as a rookie, but pretty much every season afterward.  He would be the #1 target on offense and, by that definition, would need to be a player who can be lined up at WR out wide, slot WR, TE ..... anywhere and everywhere to get the best matchup.

Yup.  I’m not sure what’s more pathetic, delivering the anonymous hate or putting your entire life on social media despite not being able to handle anonymous criticism.

Could be.  Could also be a bad move cause teams that are interested may go after other QBs

Trevor Lawrence needs surgery on his left shoulder.

Trade up for him Howie! 😉

That’s just another form of victim shaming. People should hold themselves to a higher standard. Or at the very least, don’t be a POS. It’s pretty easy to not "hit send.”

This has been known for a few weeks now. Its kind of old news. All the teams know it. It is his non throwing shoulder. Its why he had his own personal pro day yesterday. Has no effect on any team not wanting him or reducing his value

That's horrible.  But it says the guy is from Chicago on his profile.

I like the idea of him as a big WR as long as his 40 time isn't too slow.  But even if it is something like 4.6, Larry Fitzgerald ran a 4.6.

Fitz had an insane catch radius and dominated as a WR. Pitts is Vernon Davis

It is February 13th and still no one has any clue what’s actually happening

Pitts is a H-back, stop trying to turn him into a WR.

Tony Gonzalez is 6th all time in receiving yardage, Gates is 14th and Gonzalez 18th in TDs.

A top H-back can be as effective as any WR, and gives that extra edge on run downs (do I go with 3 LBs and set up an obvious mismatch, or go with a 210 lb SS and watch him get pushed out of running plays?)

Now you can line up Pitts as if he was a big WR, but the value is in using him in multiple roles, outside, in the slot, lined up next to an OT.

Ertz is a fine H-back in a TE's body, but he's always been limited by his lack of speed, 4.68, but runs routes like a WR and can use his body to shield the ball.

Pitts has an insane catch radius.  He's also 3 inches taller than Vernon Davis.  2 inches taller than Metcalf.  3 Inches taller than TO.  2 inches taller than Moss.  1 inch taller than Calvin Johnson.
