We were supposed to get 5-7 inches but that backed off now 2-4. I hate winter.

Eh I enjoy it. We are currently under a province wide lock down, and all camping is currently banned. Once that lifts (likely this week), I'll prob head out into the woods for a night or two. I'm getting stir crazy, we've been on lockdown since Boxing Day.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I did some cold weather camping when I was about 1000 years younger. I enjoyed it and it was cool (no pun intended)

It's very different than the other 3 seasons that's for sure. I've got it pretty dialed in though, and people have funny reactions when I tell them I do it in a hammock.

The last few days have sucked especially. Cold rain non-stop. My least-favorite kind of weather. No real measurable snow this year either but who's complaining? Not me. I like only having to run the heat once per winter.

NC hasn't had a real snow storm since like 2016 and even then it was only maybe 5 in

Tent, sleeping bag, full winter clothing for me (minus boots). Only did it a few times when I was 18-19ish. Just to see what it was like and prove I could do it. I think I told you before I don't even camp anymore.

Howie's Homies, this one's for you and your "cap wizard"

Wentz and Indy will yield a pick in the 20's.  Wentz and Chi will yield a pick in the teens.  Send him to CHI.

That doesn't scream top 6 pick at all. I'm a Chase fan, but I don't know man maybe it wouldn't be the best move at 6.

Everyone knows Howie botched the cap.

Ertz will be their first true cap casualty.  In trade talks, if it were actually feasible for us to keep his salary on the books, teams might actually have to offer up a pick to get him.  Otherwise, we could use him for the year and collect on a comp pick afterwards.

Instead, teams KNOW we need to clear his salary and that he will be cut if they don't trade for him.  So they'll wait and we get nothing.

Cutting Ertz (or throwing him into a Wentz deal as fluff) for nothing is the first consequence of Howie's cap mismanagement.

If Chase has trouble separating from athletic CBs, that's a big plus for Pitts, who can out bully him with his size and reach.

I'd draft Pitts over Chase without hesitation.

Peters was awful and the decision to throw him out there at LT was out of panic, familiarity, and misplaced loyalty.

But the overall explanation is fine, probably the least I've ever had to fight my gag reflex of the times you an Afan engage in conversation.

Follow-up on the Chase tweet. I've debated whether or not I want Chase if he's there at 6. I think he's probably better than these breakdowns give him credit for. But I tell ya, after having Alshon look anywhere between fine and unplayable with Wentz but like a star with Foles in the playoffs, I'm wary of drafting a WR who might rely on "faith" throws.

Why is Ertz the first for you? What about the others?

Probably.  Everyone assumes Chase is the next Justin Jefferson and the chances of that happening isn't very likely, imo.

Not at all interested in that honestly. Give me a fast guy with good separation moves please

Plus, the way he played last season, parting ways with Ertz is not a consequence at all — he screams "move on” at this point in his career for whatever you can get.

If he puts up big numbers someplace else, so be it.  I doubt it will happen and the Eagles need to get younger and cheaper everywhere possible

I see more Amari Cooper, than I do Jefferson.

Not sure how confident I am in picking a guy at #6 whose big skill was "bullying" corners, you aren't going to be able to bully NFL corners on a consistent basis.

The follow up tweets make it sound even worse. If you have to have a QB willing to make a lot of "faith" throws it makes it sound like the receiver is never really getting separation.

LOL enough of this Chase can't separate BS. Overanalysis by wannabe draft geeks trying to sound smart. The guy is a Fing superstar. GTFOH with this nonsense.

This crap happens every draft year. Some stud is overanalyzed over some nitpicky nonsense. Chase played in the best conference and dominated at like 19 years old.

Yep, happened with Jefferson last year.  Does he have enough speed, only played in the slot, blah, blah, blah

There are different ways to dominate at your position. Chase's method of domination is the least translatable when it comes to projecting NFL success for WRs.

He does everything. These people talking about lack of separation have no idea what they're talking about. He's a great route runner, he's fast, he's strong, he's fluid and explosive. He has a good catch radius and can highpoint passes. There isn't one glaring weakness.

Ertz might have a "bounceback" year, but I wouldn't bet on more than that, he's not the prototype of the TE who plays well into his 30s, he has no speed to lose (ran 4.68 a decade ago), he isn't a good blocker, and he's getting dinged on a regular basis.

Eagles will get something for him, probably a 4th, he has value to a team needing a veteran TE for a playoff run, and with only 1 year left on his contract he's low risk.

Buffalo makes a ton of sense for Ertz
