He does everything. These people talking about lack of separation have no idea what they're talking about. He's a great route runner, he's fast, he's strong, he's fluid and explosive. He has a good catch radius and can highpoint passes. There isn't one glaring weakness.

I don't know how true that is.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Buffalo makes a ton of sense for Ertz

I mentioned them last night in my post about why it might make sense to trade Goedert.  Josh Allen doesn't have a tight end.  They could be a dynamic duo core to go along with Diggs.

2.9 yards of seperation would put you top 3 in the nfl most years.. 4.4 speed and crisp route running will get you there. Chase can do both.

If Parsons runs a 4.4-4.45 40 yard dash would you consider him at 6?

Ja'Marr will absolutely beat press coverage in the NFL.

Why?  I never heard anyone say that.  They aren’t close to the same kind of receiver.

In the sense that he's going to come into the league and light it on fire.  TBH, I don't think he'll be as good as Justin Jefferson.  90% of his catches are underneath.  Chase's ceiling is basically Alshon Jeffery.

He is a hell of a slant receiver , typically WOs who excel in the slant game ,are your best WOs  overall.

Doesn't really matter because Howard aint picking him or anyone else that makes sense there

I like Chase I just don't like him as a top 10 pick.  If the Eagle trade down and he falls somewhere around 15-20, sure, why not.

It's gonna be Rashawn Slater.

Silly to trade away the future

trade the past and feed the rebuild

Don’t buy the Jeffery comparison.  I am not sure he is going to be as good as Jefferson. I think he hurt himself not getting another year of college to perfect his route running. I had Jefferson as the second most polished receiver last year after Jeudy.  Chase isn’t that because he didn’t play that long.  Smith and Waddle are more polished than Chase. That said, I really don’t see any WR as a game changer this year.  Same with Pitts. IMHO this is not a top heavy draft but it is a deep draft with talent that may need to develop.

Pretty much agree with this except that I think Rashod Bateman is the most developed, NFL ready WR out of the bunch and will likely become a future pro-bowler.  I think he's that good.

Everyone knows Howie botched the cap.

Ertz will be their first true cap casualty.  In trade talks, if it were actually feasible for us to keep his salary on the books, teams might actually have to offer up a pick to get him.  Otherwise, we could use him for the year and collect on a comp pick afterwards.

Instead, teams KNOW we need to clear his salary and that he will be cut if they don't trade for him.  So they'll wait and we get nothing.

Cutting Ertz (or throwing him into a Wentz deal as fluff) for nothing is the first consequence of Howie's cap mismanagement.

You do realize that a player cut can be signed by any team? A team that wants Ertz will trade for him to ensure they get him and don't have to compete with potentially 30 other teams.

I'd slide him right into LG or RG if a Brooks has another issue.

No it's not.  It's not supposed to get below anything normal for this time of year, here.

I moved away from PA.  Gone are the days of real cold.  Single digits or below zero wind chill, like when I lived in Altoona.

Yeah.  Last winter was our first winter in NC and we got spoiled.  This year it's just been so GD wet.

It’s 82 degrees here in South FL.

Not sure how confident I am in picking a guy at #6 whose big skill was "bullying" corners, you aren't going to be able to bully NFL corners on a consistent basis.

The follow up tweets make it sound even worse. If you have to have a QB willing to make a lot of "faith" throws it makes it sound like the receiver is never really getting separation.

JJaw anyone?

Didn't hear this comparison before, but sign me up for faster AJ Brown.

While I do like Chase, I need to watch a good bit more.  I don't think he's going to bust by any means...but does he have Hopkins like abilities and feel for the game or is his career gonna be a possesion, Jason Avant type.

That doesn't scream top 6 pick at all. I'm a Chase fan, but I don't know man maybe it wouldn't be the best move at 6.

This is a very watered down draft overall...there's probably about 60-70 players who could in theory be in convo as 1st round picks (this year).

Yep.  Perfect draft to trade down and accumulate as many picks between 20-70 as possible, imo.

We'll find out.

Oh, so now all agree on Chase? Been saying for months that he is slow! 😂

This is the perfect draft to have a long list of targets...trade back and accumulate picks.  After the first few picks, there really isn't that much divide between players.  I'm hoping to trade back to around 10, take Horn and pick up an extra second.
