There's going to be more to this story and it might get weird.  Seems he checked into that hotel a month ago and had been staying there since.  His family had filed a missing person report on him.  The police found him at the hotel a few days ago, checked on his mental state and closed the missing person case, so it seemed nothing was wrong.  A few days later he's found dead in his room with no signs of trauma.  Strange.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Don’t know the Legitimacy of this source but I agree. I don’t think Denver is interested in Wentz.

Ah, now that’s more like it.  Never change with your bumptious verbosity.  Barf bag ready to go.

Stay inside if you can and be safe.

This cold is nothing to joke about.

I have lived in Michigan, Wyoming and Colorado. I'll be just fine :)

Full sheriff's office statement.  So sad

That's so sad.

The Eagles would be rebuilding in any case, at the beginning of the rebuild, you don't want to be signing FAs, because when you're competitive, they'll be at the end of their contracts, meanwhile they block young players from getting PT and might win just enough games to screw your draft position. And FAs who sign with losing teams are mercenaries, not the guys wyou want to set an example for your younger players. Better off just keeping your own veterans.

Winter of 2023 is when you go on a FA binge, and some more in the winter of 2024.

A lot of you are foolishly wrong on Chase. I think people forget how good he is because he didn't play this season. The kid embarrassed the SEC last year.

Smith had a hell of a year this season, obviously. Chase had the same level of production as a 19 year old kid.

He's more a young Anquan Boldin than the clowns comparing him to JJaw or Jeffery...and the whole "he can't separate" claim is hilariously false.

Kid is a bonafide stud.

Think you're forgetting how good Jeffery was at 23-25 years old, before he started breaking down.

2013:  89/1421 7 TD, 60.1%, YPC 16.0, YPT 9.6

2014:  85/1133, 10 TD, 58.6%, YPC 13.3, YPT 7.8

2015:  54/807, 4 TD, 57.4%, YPC 14.9, YPT 8.6 [8 starts]

Cutler at QB, but other main receivers were Forte RB, Marshall/Royal WR, Bennett TE, no deep threat to open up the middle for him.

I think it's a legitimate question whether or not one would take Anquan Boldin at 6. Great player, but not a perennial Pro Bowler. A top 6 pick should be a game changer.

For the record, I am squarely on the fence here and will certainly talk myself into Chase if they draft him. But I don't think it's cut and dry.

If Chase is Boldin rather than Fitzgerald, pass.

Who Anquan Boldin? What’s wrong with Anquan Boldin?

13 year career

1076 catches

13,779 yards

82 TDs.

I’ll take that at 6.

You need to go back an look at Anquan’s numbers. He was underrated WR. He did make 3 Probowls.

Boldin was a very durable #2 WR, but no DC game planned for him it would be like game planning for a power back without break away speed.

Over his career, he caught 61.2% of passes for 7.9 yards per target. He had double digit (11) TDs only once in his career.

Consistent, reliable but not a game changer.

I can’t think of very many positions that are off the table for this draft, so hopefully the Eagles just dumb it down and take the best players at their slot instead of trying to outsmart the board.

Please, no more drafting guys a full round too early.

I like Tylan Wallace at the WO position ,I think he ends up a good one, physical  , makes the tough catches , 50/50 balls are his  ,and he has the wheels to run away from you.

Take him all day long in rd 3.

Fine with Chase would rather have Pitts but after Pitts I want Chase.

Nobody is Fitzgerald.  A true GOAT.  Probably the best hands ever in the NFL.   Chase is about six feet. Larry is bigger and taller.

It's just the name smith for me. That name bothers me like the matrix among other things.

I think your expectations are a little too high. Anquan Boldin type with those number is better than a 2.

At 6 I’ll take that production

The only thing not to like about Devonta Smith is his Pinkston like frame but beyond that he is just smooth, fluid, slippery and exploding with natural talent.

Chase has the better frame but Chase seems to do just about everything as good if not better.

Damn 😒

We got DK!

Will it be possible to create a pinned thread tracking all pro days?  I haven't ventured outside of this thread but think that would be a great tool for us.

Boldin was a stud.  100 catches as a rookie with Jeff Blake as QB, and crap around him at the skill positions.

Also broke the records for fastest to 100, 200 and 300 career catches.
