Tyree Jackson, 6’5” 249 4.59 forty with solid three cone and short shuttle for a guy his size.  If he can run routes and catch he could be a heck of a Hback. If he can block he could be an all round TE.  Lot of ifs but nice developmental player.  The Colts developed a lot of low round and UDFA TEs.

As an ex-QB he probably has good hands, and can read a defense and know where the soft spots will be in a zone, and who is covering him in man.

Blocking will probably be the biggest issue, along with route running technique.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Amazing how dumb some of these people are.

All you do is talk out your ass and name call , people have opinions,  just because they may not be in line with yours ,dont make someone dumb..remember I was of the opinion, that the Bucs were the  most balanced team, and you called me dumb ? How did that work out for you? The most balanced team won the superbowl  .

We are not getting a huge haul for Wentz people.  You need to come to grips with that concept.  The prudent thing would be to trade down and get more picks.  The prudent thing would be to trade Wentz for picks.  Doing the two together would help accomplishing both.  Provided that Indy or Chi likes someone at #6.  They might be dumb enough to want a TE at 6.  Or a 170 lb WR.

After the 1st round, I would prefer Lowie to go BPA and just turn their draft board to auto draft please.  Couldn't be any worse then the past few years.

I would rather do the trades seperately.  I don't want to drop all the way back to the 20ish range.   Would rather take the Colts deal for Wentz for 2 2nd round picks or whatever the rumor was then trade to move back to the 9/10 range and add a couple more picks that way.

What?  Trading down and getting more picks all while trading Carson?

How is that a bad idea?  Or are you in love with anyone in particular at #6?  Because I certainly am not.

I think its more just the fact that is it unrealistic. The amount the Colts would have to give up to move up that many spots and get Wentz is way more then the Colts will want to give up. Your looking at multiple first rounders, 2nd rounders etc just to get up that many spots. Doesnt even count Wentz being in the deal. It just seams extremely far fetched.

Now Trading down to the 8-12 range is at least someone what realistic if you have a buying willing to pay the price. Im not sure we see as many buyers this year looking to trade up with it being a Covid year, no combine etc. I could be wrong but not sure everyone in the NFL is sold on these QBs this year. We have to face the facts that this could be one of the worst years to land a top 10 pick. We might just be stuck where we are at.

The ideal scenario for our #6 is for Lowie to use it in a package to trade Wentz.  If the Colts or Bears are reluctant trade us their #1 for just Carson, then we get creative.  Our #1 and Carson for their #1 and other picks to even it out.  That would get us out of the spot we are in and still be able to get a player like Parsons, Waddle or Surtain later in the 1st round.  If we pick at #6, it's going to be a disaster.

I understand your premise in part from an Eagles perspective, but it doesn’t make a lot of sense from another team’s perspective.  In order for the Eagles not to eat the $10M guarantee they need to trade Wentz by March 19, which is a full month before the draft.  Any team wanting to trade up that early to #6 (from #11 or 12 or later I’m assuming is your premise) would likely only do so for a QB.  Including Wentz in the deal means that team is no longer in the QB market.  Also, if it’s a QB, #6 might not get that team far enough up the board.

If the trade up to #6 is for a non-QB, March 19 is likely too early to know how the draft board will shake out.

I think you lose value doing both together. Going from 6 all the way down to the Bears 20 or Colts 21 should be at least a future 1st alone and probably more. Then what would you end up getting for Wentz? You are asking a lot from just one team. You probably get better compensation trading Wentz for the rumored two 2nd's from the Colts and then moving back from 6 to 8, 9 or 12.

Good news she woke up from the coma!

Opinions can be dumb. Most of them on here are dumb. And the buccs got hot at the right time. If you remember right after that convo they looked like poop against Carolina and lost 2 of the next 3 games.

I stand with that I said. Between people thinging Lawrence wasnt coming out. To trading Wentz + a 6 for the 21st is beyond weetoddid. It's amazing people can turn on their computer

Got hot ? They won 9 games in a row,  won the superbowl as a wildcard , winning 3 games  in a row on the road.. they would have probably won 3 more in a row if they had to .I stand by what I said too, most balanced team .you were wrong just admit it and move on.

Depends what you consider a haul.

Chicago's 1st 2nd and 5th is apparently on the table

Multiply first no, 1st and 2-2's no.

But doesnt matter. Getting rid of the franchise QB will put us into the dark ages

the Fact you still think Carson is a franchise QB is a joke. Plenty of teams bail on their QBs and find replacements in a very short time.

You don't even know who he is.

I'm for discord so all that matters is everyone disagrees about him.

1 hour ago, BigEFly said:

He does make his QB better. Good hands, good at tracking the ball and the body control to catch low passes, high passes, passes falling short and pass behind him. But so similar to Reagor in size and style of play.  I suspect he will do well in the NFL but the Eagles have greater needs. Not sure he is a player you build an offense around.

I think Reagor is a fair comparison in some ways but I also think he probably has better hands and body control.  I think the team does have greater needs but it's also not like WR is a strength of the team.  WR is a premium position and it's not like the team doesn't can't field 3 productive receivers.  I see this as an opportunity to add a good player much in the way the team drafted Maclin the season after drafting Desean.  It's not like Maclin was a typical X receiver.  He was a speedy productive receiver in college that helped DeSean become much more productive in his second season.  Certainly adding Chase would help both players.

Define plenty? I mean how many teams have actually effectively replaced a good QB in 2 seasons over the last 10 years in the NFL?

The way their defense played can't be understated.  It was just a dominant front 7.  I think they had more to do with the Super Bowl than the offense.  They did get hot at the right time but it's not like it was a fluke.

Man the hate in here is strong today.  We're all Eagles fans, just have different visions of what should happen.

We want the best quarterback for the Eagles.  If that's Carson that would be great.

If we have to trade him, let's hope we get max return.  No one knows what actually is on the table.

Howie sucks. (Sorry AFan, you're on your own).

I'll bet you whatever you like that he makes muiltply pro bowls going foward.

he had 1 lousy year(actually 9 games) out of 4 because 1) he didnt have an OC, 2) people were laughing at his head coach and 3) was throwing to UPS drivers  you think he's not a franchise QB.

Like I said, put up or shut up

lol you sound like a tough guy internet huh? lol. "put up or shut up".

Listen dude there is a reason we are trading him. He is broken dude. He has no leadership qualities and he is not a good QB. Flat out man he is not even a top 10 anymore. Dude is done.

If you think he will get you MULTI PRO BOWLS!!!! then why are none of the NFL teams.. with people who really understand football.. not pounding on our door and giving up 2 1s right now for Carson? because they know the dude is BROKEN. He is a project QB now.

Honestly jail doesn't help that girls' family with medical bills and care.   I think Missouri has caps on non-economic damages so a claim for pain and suffering will be limited.  Because she is a minor, even if she has a significant permanent brain damage that disables her for life, those damages are likely too speculative for a jury to be allowed to consider.  A loss of future income isn't part of a claim for economic damages for a child.  So chances are that Britt Reid will not fully have to compensate that family for the harm he caused.

off top of my head without googling? Teams that had good QBs that got replaced ?

Ravens - Flaco to Jackson - So far so good

KC - Alex smith to Mahomes - So far so good

At work but that is quick off top of my head.

It's not trying to be tough. It's putting someone in thier place who has hate towards wentz. That's all.

You have multiply teams in on Wentz, you had multiply coaches wanting to come here to coach wentz, but you, some hoagie mouth thinkds hes done cause 15% of his career games with no OC, a **** HC and no one to throw to he looekd bad

bro you can't put me in my place when you can't lie he has been garbage dude. Its bloody facts. We should have traded the bum at the end of 2018 season for a truck load of picks.

Jail is still needed to make an example. You should not drink and drive it is that simple. I lost someone close to me because of that crap and that Fer is still in jail for it and he should be.

The girl needs money to get help and already they got 500k raised. They need to take whatever this boy has give it to the girl and put him in jail. F anyone who drinks and drives.

backs up my point lol.

How is backing up your point , taking proven facts that he has NOT been a good QB and that NO TEAM has offered eagles what you think Carson is worth?

Yes multi teams want him.. but at a price that is LOW. No real starting QB who you think has pro bowl level talent still would go for no less than 2 1s. No flash that is NOT going to happen because teams are to damn smart to spend that on a project QB. Because that what Carson is.

Dude has all the upside in the world but he is BROKEN. Carson HAS talent but has no idea what to do with it. I hope he fixes it but not with this team.

Wentz is going to be traded you dunce.  And we need as many early picks that we can get.  Wentz will help with that.  Our #6 will help with that.  How is that hard for you to comprehend?

sweet christmas someone who gets it!!!! We need all the picks we can get for a quick turn around and fix a lot of the holes. Just hope we are able to land some studs.

1/2/5 is a haul, IMO.  Howie would deserve a pat on the back for that.

I don't think that's actually on the table. It would be done by now.

1) theres multiply teams who want him

2) theres muiltiply coaches who wanted to come here and fix him

3) You wanted to trade a guy the year before he was top 10 in every QB category including 30+ TD's, 7 interceptions while throwing to UPS drivers.

4) Let's make a wager. 500. Wentz goes to 2 playoffs and 2 pro bowls.

1) theres multiply teams who want him - they want to offer the eagles low draft picks not 2 1s. if you think he is pro bowl then why doesn't teams offer that value? How hard is logic? If a team isn't offering what a pro bowl QB is valued then news flash - he is broken

2) theres muiltiply coaches who wanted to come here and fix him --- yes fix him because he is broken and only 2 teams reported said they can fix him. Colts and Bears where is this other team ? SHow me...ill wait

3) You wanted to trade a guy the year before he was top 10 in every QB category including 30+ TD's, 7 interceptions while throwing to UPS drivers.  -- bro, stop throwing the same stat at me over and over again expecting different results. That is insanity!

4) Let's make a wager. 500. Wentz goes to 2 playoffs and 2 pro bowls. -- LOL first sorry but i honestly don't gamble because i value my money.. shocking right? I don't even make tiny bets. My money is best invested in real things. Let getting ready for early retirement!

There are some people that logic doesn't work. That is ok! I am fine with that. but this conversation ends here. Done replying to you as logic doesn't work. Have a wonderful day!
