I wonder if the Jets try to trade down. Their OL was god awful last year, and they saw with Darnold what happens when you bring in a golden boy QB and don't draft 1st round offensive players around him. They could trade down with Atlanta, Philly, Detroit, or even Carolina, still likely land Sewell or Slater, and collect a bounty of picks. If Zach Wilson is as highly regarded as recent rumblings suggest....the Les Bowen Tweet today....the Joe Douglas connection....

I wouldn't be surprised if JJAW blossoms with the new coaching staff. He's not been a good fit as a WR, but at 6'2 225, he's the same size as Trey Burton, and he's willing to block. Sirianni had Burton in Indy, so he knows how to use that kind of player.

Think of JJAW as a WR/H-back hybrid and get him matched up against nickel CBs, safeties and LBs instead of outside CBs. He isn't slow, 4.5 40, but lacks the burst to get separation from NFL CBs. Get him matched up and he'd be able to run away from most NFL LBs.

He doesn't need a lot of separation, he can physically dominate smaller guys and win contests against guys his size.

He was over drafted and for the wrong role, but that doesn't mean they can't find some value there.

Because he got a low round grade.  BYU didn’t play a bunch of teams higher than the MAC.  What worries me is that while Wilson’s SO and FR years weren’t awful, they were pedestrian.

As much as I like Wilson , I will not be shocked if Mac Jones ends up best QB from this draft.

I do like Crum too , I think he ends up a top 50 pick.
