I did not say anything when anyone just disliked him. It's the "he should play RB" comments that I feel offensive.

Are those comments offensive when people said that about Tim Tebow or Hill who are White? Your a racist ****. That pretty much sums it up.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Historically the NFL was dominated by white QBs, and this was because of racism and that is a proven fact. Which makes your whole argument petty and childish.

"Hurts runs around too much."

"Scrambling QBs are never successful."

Same people think trading Carson Wentz is such a tragedy?

It has nothing to do with the fact that he’s black or he scrambles.

He won’t succeed because he can’t throw  to the middle of the field to save his life. Almost every completion he had was to the outside.

Bump in pages in 15 hours. Guessing more fake trade reports lol

So your comparing a highlight reel that Wentz ran for 299 yards in the entire season(his biggest running season BTW) to Hurts that ran for 350+ in 4 games starting?

Yep, I def see the comparison there, lol.

Last I checked, running around behind the line of scrimmage isn't factored into the rushing yards stat. Hurts had more designed QB runs. Stop being disingenuous.

Come on man enough with this.  Yes, racism has occurred throughout history in every facet of life.  The arguments provided have been to show you that not ALL black college quarterbacks have been asked to change positions and that yes it happens to white quarterbacks too.  There is nothing childish about it.

To say that the NFL was dominated by white quarterbacks BECAUSE of racism is just ridiculous.

What's Hurts highest possible ceiling? Lamar Jackson, basically. Which Hurts likely will never come close to.

Lamar Jackson will never win a Super Bowl. Hell they finally won a playoff game this year for the first time. Anybody that wants to emulate the Ravens offense should just go cheer for them. It doesn't work, it never has worked, it never will work. Sure, you can put up nice regular season stats and wins. But in the playoffs, against good teams, that type of offense ALWAYS fails.

That's why I don't want Hurts as the starting QB. I think he's fine as a backup, and if you have to switch to that type of offense for a few games because your pocket passer is injured, then so be it. But long term it's just going to end in defeat.

It's my fault. I called Hurts a RB

If we can't even agree on that, then I guess there is no point to keep discussing it.

Still looks like I struck a nerve here.

Last I checked running around behind the line is not considered a Scrambling QB, its called a Mobile QB

Thanks a lot for reminding me that Taysom Hill actually outplayed Hurts in that game

Oh I forgot, the black dudes can't be QB argument.

Oh good lord, we are fans of a team that has had more black QB as starters than any other franchise.   Hurts would have been a third round pick but for the Eagles.  It's not like there weren't longstanding questions about his arm strength and accuracy.  For the most part, those questions remain and he was often too quick to run vs. making a throw this past season.

There it is.

First glance? YUCK

I did not say that the Eagles are racist, so try again. Or are you saying the fans are smart by association?

crap, that is less than I was hoping for.

and I've Fing told you he stinks.

Coaches in college think he stinks. Scouts thought he stinks

The eye test to me says hes not an NFL QB which backs up everything the scouts/coaches and have said.

I dont want him as a starter. I didnt want him as a 2nd. I didnt want him as a 4th. I dont like him. He's not good.

He's completion percentage in garbage. His turn over ratio is garbage and outside of "being exicting" which doesnt win football games he STINKS

You're dying on a hill of a guy who got cut from the best coach in college football history, a 4th rounder who went in the 2nd cause the GM is an idiot and went 1-3

He wasn't cut from Alabama.  You have a very pathetic level of hate for Hurts.  Brings me joy that you'll have to watch him as the starting QB this year.

Now that it is over we can move on.

LOL at the terrible value.  Wonder what conditions bump it to a 1st? MVP or Super Bowl win?

So now to see how those on here like downunder react when they were in complete denial about the Eagles trading Wentz.

75% of the snaps? That's attainable as it's roughly 12-13 games.

At best a 3rd and a first next year, but that would mean the first is likely a late first anyhow.

Yikes.

Damn. Best of luck Carson, hope the Philly media is happy.

Terrible value, tells you everything you need to know about how the league valued Wentz.
