Not surprised we didn't get a haul. Never was expecting that at all.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

craps embarrassing

Cant wait for a 5-11 season and his 53% completions. But hey, he's exciting

If we compare his rookie year to other Eagles QBs and then their second year's I'm not sure why you would anticipate such a small improvement.

Why is Howie still here?

Im going on the record saying it is a BIG mistake. Eagles will regret it. Im sure in a few years after Carson is back to playing successful and going to the playoffs year in and year out the fans that said he was a turd will say they didnt say that and they did not agree with trading him.

First glance? YUCK

Get the F outta here with that.  Wow, that's bad.  Lurie needs to walk Howie right now.

So now what? LOL.

Hurts for the year? Draft a guy?

Gonna be an interesting off season.

Last I checked running around behind the line is not considered a Scrambling QB, its called a Mobile QB

Lol what? You're obviously not budging on this.

I agree with the general premise that "magic" at QB isn't sustainable. The Vicks, the Cams, the RG3s, etc. -- that flame eventually burns out if the QB doesn't develop as a passer.

The problem? In year 5, Wentz hasn't developed as a passer. In fact, he's regressed from 3 years ago. Rewatch the 2017 Wentz highlight video I posted above. Wentz is scrambling around, breaking tackles left and right, and running by defenders. Compare that to 2020. An unrefined passer + diminished athleticism = a bad QB.

Hurts has an NFL arm and has flashed at the NFL level. We won't know how he develops as an NFL passer until we see it. Just writing him off based on your armchair scouting when the kid was 19 at Alabama absolutely is disingenuous.

So we're hoping he plays every game and they suck

Please god, don't let Howie draft a QB at 6. What an embarassment if so.

Draft a QB at 6. Start the rebuild right away. I like Hurts, but he is not our future.

That return doesn't look good.

The saga is over

Haha seems harsh, but yeah. I sure will.

I bet Howie could've had 2 second rounders with one of those being conditional, but he played hardball and settled for less.  Howie has been slipping in all areas over the past few years, but Lurie doesn't seem to care.

They had no leverage  , carson was gone and teams knew it.

Same people think trading Carson Wentz is such a tragedy?

No one thinks a mobile QB is a bad thing.  The question is when running becomes part of the offense or when they are a better runner than passer. Josh Allen is a good example of a QB that drastically improved because he became a more accurate passer.  Vick excelled as a runner but it ultimately cut his career short.  I mean under Reid he looked for 2 years like a good QB but ultimately never reached his potential because he did not develop early in his career as an above average passing QB.  Russell Wilson has always been an accurate passer with an above average arm.  Even when the team had designed runs for Wilson, no one would think he's a run first QB.   For Hurts to excel, he has to develop as an above average passer that does not rely on his mobility to run vs. gain time to throw.

Well lets hear it, both sides should start airing dirty laundry about wtf happened

Are there any of his supporters left?  Or has everyone finally joined my side of the argument started 2 seasons ago?

You know there's still one....

I still think he is a good GM.

But the return on this trade probably should've been higher.

I will be a Carson fan and will def root for him and Frank having success. I hope they land a few SBs over there. Will be only the 2nd time Ive ever pulled for another team to have success. Dawkins with the Broncos was the 1st.

We got worse compensation because Wentz refused to go the Bears. Of course.

Not sure if you mean it, but might be true.

So basically a 2021 3rd and likely a 2022 first. Not horrible, but not great. It is what it is, since everyone knew he wanted to go to Indy.

This organization blows.  Why do I still buy my season tickets?  WHY?!

Who pay
