I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

nah. Giants still suck so thats a split. Lions blow. (2) Redskins probably split. Hurts plays his ass off and we get lucky

4-5 wins

The division is working against us.  That's a lot of beatable teams, for sure.

I miss you big guy.    Good to have you back, even if only for a little while.

Aw shucks lol.

Yeah, I had to come back for this.

So...of course I bought 2 Wentz jerseys when he signed the extension.

Ordering a McNabb and a Cunningham. Make it simple.

Makes the HC all the more head scratching.

Only if you believe the narrative that Doug was fired for preferring Hurts over Wentz. For all we know, it could've been the opposite and that's why Doug and Wentz are gone, while Howie and Hurts are still here.

As soon as Wentz agent told Bears he didn’t want to go there we were fed.

Will Howie and Lurie make themselves available to a press conference?

They need to answer on how they completely screwed this entire Wentz situation up.

Hey bro!  Hope you are good.  And the family.

We're good man, thank you for asking. Pop has had some issues, but he's tougher than a $2 steak.

How are things with you and the fam?

The Hurts Error begins...

I know how I spelled it.

Looks like he will stay our GM for years to come. And Hurts will start.

I'm happy.

I'd love to be albe to archive this post for future reference.

Thanks for LII, Carson.

Oh.  I forgot.  I have a fake Barnett jersey too my buddy bought for me since I'm a Vols fan.  It's one of those illegal weird ones from overseas for like $30.

That's funny. I got a Barnett jersey after we drafted him. My wife is a Vols alum. I've watched his entire career thus far. I like him as a player. He's only 24 and I believe he can end up being another Graham for us. Anyways, what a mess the Vols are huh? I can't really say much since my USC team was overrated and overhyped the last few seasons lol

You start the rebuild this year. Cap implications be damned. You have to enter into the season with only two priorities...

1. Jettisoning any player that you don't think has any potential place on the 2022 roster and accumulating any 2022 draft capital you can acquire for them.
2. Accumulating as much non-QB talent in the hopes that either
    a) Hurts turns into your franchise QB on a cheap deal with a good amount of years on it.
    b) Hurts sucks and you are in a position to move up in the 2022 draft and draft a QB.

Buddy, the Hakeem Butler signing did not get you to pop in, but the Wentz trade did ??

We need you back, and if trading players is what it takes, I say we trade Fletcher Cox next.

Please do! And be big enough to show it if Hurts proves to be a total baller.

I actually don't this is horrible compensation. If Wentz sucks and/or is injured, I'll be glad glad that we were able to squeeze a 2nd and 3rd for him (while also getting future cap relief). If he plays well next year, a 1st and a 3rd is decent compensation. IMO, the only way this compensation becomes lopsided is if Wentz turns back the clock to 2017.

My feeling on this? It's one giant clusterF. When Jeff had his PC he spoke of teams like the Jags and others, but where he stopped short was, those other teams he mentioned also fired their GM, Howie is and has been a major issue, he should've been fired with Doug.

We just F’d up something bad.

No, for believing that a Reich disciple was brought in to repair Wentz.

I don't think the trade was so horrible given the limitations, but the Eagles may have actually inched past the Jets and Texans as the NFL's greatest laughingstock, for this offseason at least.

Yea. I'm not so much upset about the trade details.  Its Howie.  Just gotta be fired one way or another. Wentz on the other hand. Idk what the fanbase was expecting.  We needed someone who wanted to make a deal. Other than that, this was not comparable to Stafford-Goff trade in any way.

AMEN!

But, Howie is tied to Jeff's hip.  I'd go so far as to say that Howie has been the primary issue.

Agreed. Unless we are sold on one of these QBs as an elite talent, we just need to build a team again which we haven’t over the last few years. We should probably consider trading down from 6 (especially if Chase is gone) and really doing this right.

If Hurts makes the big jump we hope for, we should fine going forward. If not, we potentially have 2 firsts next year to go get the QB we need.

What a disaster.

I only buy throwbacks. Last Jersey I bought of a player on the team was McNabb in his 2nd year. Just no point in todays NFL.

There are a few active players that are still worth the purchase IMO. Kelce, Lane, BG, Cox – even if they go elsewhere, I would still wear their jersey proudly. But yeah, in general, throwbacks are the way to go.

I may pop in every now and then, but I'm not coming back in the capacity as before
