It works... We just need so much... I literally can see 12 new players as a need.

And now thanks to howies utter failure we have next to nothing

have to consider a qb at 6

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Good.  Daughter at school, soph year in SC.  Wife and I settled in nicely here in wet NC.

Good, happy to hear/read.

Garafolo said Wentz never requested a trade but the feeling was he was done in Philly.

Yep.  Both of my football teams are a mess.  The Vols issue goes to the boosters and their involvement with the last AD and HC search (Fulmer and Pruitt).  We'll see what happens now with the new UCF AD and HC.

Yea I seen that. I watch every Vols game. Like I told my wife, bright spot is Guarantano is gone:roll:

My feeling on this? It's one giant clusterF. When Jeff had his PC he spoke of teams like the Jags and others, but where he stopped short was, those other teams he mentioned also fired their GM, Howie is and has been a major issue, he should've been fired with Doug.

Well, all his players were picked before he could get them!

Good to see you Don!

If you look at it through the lens of Carson was gone no matter what (and it was obvious for awhile), this is a solid deal. The market wasn’t there.

Unfortunately, I fully expect him to play well in Indy and will look like a good deal for the Colts.

You start the rebuild this year. Cap implications be damned. You have to enter into the season with only two priorities...

2. Accumulating as much non-QB talent in the hopes that either
    a) Hurts turns into your franchise QB on a cheap deal with a good amount of years on it.
    b) Hurts sucks and you are in a position to move up in the 2022 draft and draft a QB.

This works assuming they don't burn their capital to move up to take someone like Wilson or Fields.

No, for believing that a Reich disciple was brought in to repair Wentz.

That was always a silly claim. The writing had been on the wall for a month, ever since that ridiculous Lurie presser. Anyone who watched that live stream and came away with the conclusion that Wentz was gonna be on this team for week 1 was deluding themselves.

I could definitely see Howie taking a QB in the first round now lol

Hey man!

miss your stuff !

So with that trade value I think we can say Etrz ends up landing a 4th rounder. If we are in any luck conditional 3rd

Please do! And be big enough to show it if Hurts proves to be a total baller.

If Hurts is good i'll happily admit it.

He'd better get past 1 read before he runs though.

Maybe.  The question is whether or not he would have had success had he remained here.

We should trade Cox, Graham, Ertz, etc...

I think the "move up to take a QB" option in 2021 vaporized when Howie couldn't secure a guaranteed 1st round pick for Wentz in 2022.

It's possible that a QB like Fields or Lance falls to us.

Well. The Eagles must admit they completely screwed this whole thing up. Giving him a contract. Then drafting Hurts. Trading Wentz....

Us fans are being held hostage by Howie. Furious at this team.

Doesn’t matter. He was never coming back.

How does a trade like this fit into the QB factory metaphor?

Howie said he wants to be a QB factory. Hurts doesn’t stop that. A QB is in play at 6.

No. More lies to the fans.

OMG.....I was so f-ing tired of that POS.  Team would compete, run the ball and then Guarantano took over.

They had a real good team last year. Gray and Chandler were studs on that team. Palmer on the outside. Oline was one of the top in the country. Big Trey Smith fan here. That defense was solid too. He was the reason they sucked. Hopefully they can recruit better at the qb position

Well, if that's the case, the trade can't "look like a bad deal" for the Eagles, can it?

Yep.

Now it's going around that the Eagles are not handing the job to Hurts and have ammo to make a trade for a QB if they choose.

Justin Fields? Yikes.
