I was thinking about that and I am not loving that.  But if it is a conditional then it would have to be a 2022 draft pick.  I'd rather get one for 2021.  So if they can get a 3rd, I would be ok.

Id rather load up on 2022. Just the issues with no combine, no in person interviews, work out etc. I dont trust this draft much. Maybe we get lucky and if we suck so bad in 2021 Howie might get the push out as well.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Well. The Eagles must admit they completely screwed this whole thing up. Giving him a contract. Then drafting Hurts. Trading Wentz....

Us fans are being held hostage by Howie. Furious at this team.

They won't admit it because they will make sure they don't hold a press conference until after round 1 of the draft and at that point they will be banking on the questions being about who they drafted.

I think there’s next to zero chance the Eagles draft a QB in the first round.  That would require Howie explaining why he’s jettisoned the head coach, franchise QB, and second round QB (successor) all in the same offseason.

Trade back from 6 to #11 range, pick up an additional pick or two, try to rebuild the roster, then find a decent QB.  Gonna be a long 3-4 years.

I said it before and I’ll say it again — repairing Wentz was the best chance to accelerate a rebuild.  Now it’s gonna be a number of lean years.

Well, if that's the case, the trade can't "look like a bad deal" for the Eagles, can it?

I don’t think it does.

I doubt we would get anything for Graham.  The other two.....I am with you.

I'd take a 7th

I actually don't this is horrible compensation. If Wentz sucks and/or is injured, I'll be glad glad that we were able to squeeze a 2nd and 3rd for him (while also getting future cap relief). If he plays well next year, a 1st and a 3rd is decent compensation. IMO, the only way this compensation becomes lopsided is if Wentz turns back the clock to 2017.

It still wouldn't be lopsided.  Because either lurie,Howie, or both gave up on em

Howie doesn't have to explain s***. He has the best job security in the NFL. If Howie wants to drat a QB, he will.

How does a trade like this fit into the QB factory metaphor?

If the Eagles are dead set on taking a QB early, please, PLEASE not Lance.

Yep.  He would make a boneheaded play and the whole team would be defeated.

The 2nd half of that Georgia game was laughable

So with that trade value I think we can say Etrz ends up landing a 4th rounder. If we are in any luck conditional 3rd

I don't think we'd get a 6 for Ertz.

Lance is the second best prospect after Lawrence.  Fields would be a franchise-wrecker decision

Lance is going to be good

Eagles are now trading Hurts, 6, Dillard and one of the 3s for Watson.

 Perfect

Hurts in 2nd half of games was really bad. I don't think people realize that.

Gotta be Hurts now, right?

Hopefully not.

What can Howie and Lurie do if Wentz doesnt wanna be here?  Dont think it's that they're giving up on him.

You all owe that Vin guy an apology.

This must mean Korkmaz really did punch LeBron in the parking lot after the Lakers game!

We should trade Cox, Graham, Ertz, etc...

Cox is untradeable this coming year due to his restructure

Lance has a ton of potential, yes, but he's a major project. Could very easily bust.

Yep.

Now it's going around that the Eagles are not handing the job to Hurts and have ammo to make traded for a QB of they choose.

Justin Fields? Yikes.

The fields part doesn’t bother me if the eagles love fields. The bigger issue is what they are going to have to give up to move from 6 to 2/3 to get a Qb if that’s what they are planning on doing. Probably gonna overpay as I’m Guessing the market is going to dictate that with teams like the panthers, Broncos, Patriots and some others might attempt to move up.

I'm not really worried about trading a 2nd or 3rds to trade up for a QB. I have no doubt in my mind that Howie would have drafted a bust with those picks anyways.
