Trey Lance hasn't seen bright lights yet. He's trucking people in half his highlights and that's not sustainable at all (Yes, it will eventually catch up to Josh Allen too.) He looks to have that same "see it and zip it" habit that Wentz has at his worst. I don't have a good feeling about him at all.

And Fields? Oh my goodness, you wanna talk about inconsistency...sheesh.

To me, it's either don't draft a QB with a high pick at all, or trade up for whoever is available at 2 if the Jets are willing to trade out. I prefer the first option.

I think it is going to be a ridiculous price to pay to move up to get to 2 if the Jets are willing to trade out. I think you might have competition from panthers, niners, Denver, even atlanta who can sit the QB for a year then move on from Ryan the following year(26 dead money in 2022 but can clear 15 mil). I think there’s likely more competition to move up to two then in 2016.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

What if Siriani came here thinking he had Wentz? And now that Wentz is going to Indy, and he has no franchise qb?

Then he was sold a bill of goods in the interview process.

In others news it also found one of Carson Wentz's footballs he overthrew to Sanders from this season.

I guess you think thats funny? You must be one of them guys who laughs at his own jokes before you even say it. Stick to your day job.

Yeah, I don't understand the infatuation with Lance when we have Hurts.  I have yet to see Lance do something Hurts can't do.

Atlanta would be the team to watch, I think. But yeah, I wouldn't make the move if I were the Eagles. I'd trade down (not out of the top 12), collect some picks, and restock the young talent on this team. If Hurts is terrible next year? Use the 1st in 2022 (probably already high if Hurts is really bad) and the likely Colts 1st, and get your high 1st round QB that way.

I'm thinking Zangaro might be one of the most level headed "reporters" we have out there.

ESP forever the attention-craving contrarian.

"The Colts will be giving the Eagles a better pick than 21 next year. The Colts aren't a great organization. The Eagles are a better run organization than the Colts are right now."

Welp, I wish Carson well. It fell apart here because of his own play but also the team's inability to surround him better. Carson was a good face of the franchise. Great in the community. Tough as nails. I'll think of him fondly still in the future, like I do Nick Foles and Doug Pederson. Time for Lowie to pull their heads out of their bums though. This team needs serious rebuilding...

I cannot repeat this enough -- this team will be inconsistent to terrible for as long as they keep having these bodybag seasons. They have to figure these injuries out. 4 straight years they've been hit hard with injuries to key players.

Already forgot he was once an Eagle.

Oh well, Wentz is gone. The compensation is ok, not the best, but not the worst that could have been had,  but if it allows the team to move on, great.  A shame that Carson wasn't strong enough to stay here and fight for his team and team mates. But so be it.

We move on

Sigh. You have no idea about Carson or his "strength".

I look forward to the QB Factory again outsmarting everyone by drafting a QB at 6, should be great.

Someone said it awhile ago but Eagles should have gotten Lucks rights in the deal.

Who has a better 2021 season--Hurts or Wentz?

Won't happen. Drafting a QB at 6 would be Howie admitting he made a mistake with Hurts.

Wentz. And it isn't close.

Wentz and it’s not close.  Eagles have to shed a ton of cap room and Hurts will be playing with a roster stripped of talent.

Anyone else watching the Rangers VS Phantoms game tonight?

How can anyone not have success on that team, it’s stacked, isn’t it like top 9 offense and defense now? They still have a 1 and 2 as well.

Thats already done. Largest cap hit ever right after they extended him.  This trade, on top of firing Doug, was his admission that the plan 100% failed

And also it's Jalen Hurts.....

I say Hurts , but they need to add a another reciever , beit a TE or WO , and rb.
