I wouldn't be surprised if they move Press to OC.  That will go over like a lead balloon.  But, would we really be surprised if that happens?

Sadly there is really only one needing to fire, the main OC to move in the right direction. 

By the looks of this offense it did not look much different from last few years under Doug. So these other guys Doug really didnt listen to anyways. 

Actually, this could be a great situation for an OC.

Offense starting from ground zero, so a big jump makes you a hot commodity.

Defense will suck, so more opportunities to open up the offense.

And if the team has a losing record, you might be the next HC if it's due to defense and the HC gets blamed.

Depends. If Howie and Doug are up front and tell the new OC that he will have full 100% control over the offense(Better get that in writing BTW) then they will have many interested parties. Question is will they do that or is this new OC just going to be the next Groh that stands in the back ground while Doug ruins the offense for another season.

Unless Doug has changed his mind and he is on board with hiring an OC with potential play calling duties.....but I highly doubt that’s the case

Getting Mornhinweg out of the building is at least a step in the right direction. I don't know how much influence he had in the offense being a part of the "committee" but him being at the facility on a daily basis is detrimental enough. He has no business influencing an offense in this league, let alone with this team. We all complained about him 10 years ago and SHOCKER! it didn't work out again this time in his second stint. 

Nobody up and coming is going to want to come here as an OC. Best case scenario is you convince a guy like Jim Caldwell who is trying to get back into HC to take the job and either fix Wentz or develop Hurts. Most likely scenario is they hire someone who just got fired like potentially Jay Gruden.

Well at this point it looks like only coaches that their contracts have expired are going to be the big "Changes" If Doug has any say now Press stays and goes back to QB coach and they do away with the Rn/Pass game Cord titles. Press Qb coach, Duce RB coach, new OC coach to sit behind and hold Doug's clipboard again like Groh. There we have our big changes, lol.

I think even he would be a stretch because of the whole play calling thing. He could probably find a job as a play caller.

Has the drafting been just "bad luck" as well?

Difference makers drafted since "full control" of that team was inherited?  Difference making FA's added?  Replacements for players lost that are better than what they replaced?  Cap room flexibility created?  Roster improvement in any area?  Young talent?

We HAVE to have higher standards than this.  Unless we are just content to transition into the Browns/Bengals.

Are we even sure if he is any good? He worked with Adams one year in his prime in 2018. He went to AZ last year and hasn't done much with Isabella. Then he has one year with prime Hopkins. He wasn't retained when McCarthy was fired and is fired two years later. Doesn't seem like a great track record. 

Just saw Markelle Fultz messed up his knee and is done for the year.  Tough break after signing a nice extension.  The way the Sixers managed that draft was a disaster and he never should have been a Sixer.  With that being said, he's finally turning in to the player people thought.

Philly sports and drafting as of late has been straight poop.  Who is the last Phillies prospect they drafted, made it through the minors and actually became an every day Phillie?
